Vernon Mills, our Clinical Integration Specialist and IOP Director, has spent decades walking alongside individuals through some of their most difficult moments. His work focuses on guiding people from brokenness to strength and from confusion to understanding, using intentional therapeutic processes that go far beyond surface-level solutions.
He believes real transformation begins when a person understands who they are and embraces why they are here. That belief shows up in the way he leads, the way he serves, and the impact he makes on every client he works with.

Vernon Mills has been a dedicated presence in Central Louisiana since 1994, bringing both consistency and compassion to the region for over three decades. Shortly after arriving, he stepped into his calling as a counselor, beginning his work just six months later. Since then, Mr. Mills has committed his life to helping others navigate personal challenges while discovering deeper meaning and direction.
As a counselor, Mr. Mills focuses on stimulating, motivating, and empowering his clients through intentional therapeutic processes. His approach goes beyond surface-level solutions; he helps individuals explore their identity and cultivate their spiritual lives, guiding them toward fulfilling their purpose. He believes that true transformation happens when a person understands who they are and embraces why they are here.
What Mr. Mills finds most rewarding about his work is witnessing people blossom. Seeing individuals grow from brokenness into strength, from confusion into clarity, fuels his passion daily. His work is not just about counseling, it is about cultivating lives that flourish.
