The AVAHCS cares for Veterans in 23 of Louisiana's 64 parishes.

Thanks to the 100+ that were a part of our annual tradition of dressing the 9,315 graves in the Alexandria National Cemetery with American flags. Individuals, groups, organizations, troops, posts, chapters-all were represented. Please remember Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our great nation.

Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 25th has been moved to Pineville First United Methodist Church on Monroe Highway due to weather forecast. Program will be held in the sanctuary at 9:00 a.m.

Weather permitting, flags will be placed on the 9,315 graves at the Alexandria National Cemetery on Saturday, May 23rd, at 8:00 a.m. The address is 209 East Shamrock Street, Pineville.

Please join us for these events to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.
