We are in need of a volunteer or business to provide lunch to our volunteers who will once again be working to spay and neuter dogs and cats in your community!

On clinic days we feed about a dozen volunteers. Due to dietary restrictions, we request dishes with no pork or beef. Chicken, turkey and vegetarian fare is wonderful.

The food should be simple. A sack lunch is fine—maybe chicken salad or pimento cheese sandwiches. A crockpot of soup is always good. A casserole we can reheat is wonderful

We have crockpots and a microwave and a refrigerator. We do not have a cook stove.

Okay lazy bones, time to get this party started. Gidget was getting alittle more beauty rest at her fosters house before her big travel day to Rochester. She is joined by 22 other lucky travelers this morning as they make their way to their first transfer stop in Rolla.
As we close out our transport for the first quarter of 2026, 133 dogs, mostly from McDonald County have bypassed going into a shelter because of this effort. We have spent nearly $5000 preparing these dogs because what other option is there for them now that they have been born?
💡For everyone reading this, will you please share to your own social media pages and community groups that low cost services are here, right in your community? Breeding season is here and transporting is not always possible; there is NO magical somewhere else for an unending stream of unwanted animals. Remember No Birth= No Kill something we all hope for as animal advocates.

The url is also listed in the about section. We still have funds to provide a further discount to our farm dogs, pitties, porch hounds and big dogs that fill our shelters.

A reminder....breeder requests will not be honored. These dogs and cats have made you thousands of dollars and you are still looking to save a buck and line your pockets further? There's a saying greedy breeders...you know who you are. Taking away resources from pets who desperately need these spots so you can make more money is really uncool.

We are seeing a huge number of pregnant cats right now. Please get an appointment as soon as possible. Please note in your request..probably pregnant and we'll try to squeeze you in if we have cancels.

We have been assisting a family that has gotten a few too many dogs on their property and our dear Nicole Blevins has agreed to advocate for them. Today as they were brought in we realized these dogs are better off in another environment as they heal from some wounds they have sustained. We are looking for fosters.
All have been sterilized, vaccinated dewormed and have had flea/tick product.
We are working as quickly as possible to network them to partnering rescues. Your commitment may be just two weeks or it could be a bit longer. If the dog( s) need cannot stay longer please advise us and we take care of it very quickly.

In the spay neuter world, a calendar like this is a true blessing. All that red? Completely filled surgery days! Another wonderful week where we altered 135 more animals and provided basic wellness to dozens more.

Thank you Rosemarie! Transport has been filled!

We have an opportunity to receive a generous amount of flea and tick product thanks to our friends at Good Shepherd Humane Society in Eureka Springs but we are short on a driver to go pick it up.
Would we have any followers who might be interested in taking a leisurely drive through the countryside for us? Time/day is fairly flexible!
Please let us know; our supply of donated goods is on EMPTY and we do like to share product like this to folks who we know cannot afford to pay for preventative. Thank you so much!

Perfect job for a customer service front facing person who would like a part time position.
➡️Hours are 9 am to 3:30 -4, 2-3 days a week.
➡️Days are Tuesday and Thursdays and most Wednesdays. Ideal for long weekends!
➡️General computer skills required.
➡️Face paced, detail oriented and eager learner required
➡️Able to pick up to 40 lbs if necessary.
➡️Paid weekly, $15 an hour

Today we jumped across the 1,000 animal surgery mark for 2026 as we altered 20 dogs and 30 cats. 40% dogs 60 % cats right in our target zone of capacity and desired demographic. We had a packed house of volunteers because we welcomed 4 new ladies into the "family". Thank you for saying yes to our cause!

Our crazy lunch lady, Glennetta Law has decided to take a "Lunch Break"! After more than two years of dedicated work, first handling all the cat scheduling manually and then moving onto providing us with delicious lunches ( and sometimes breakfast too) this sweet lady is taking some time to do some projects that now require her attention. We love you Glennetta!

In an feeblee attempt to replace her skills, we have engaged sign up genius to schedule our lunch partners. Attached is the link for the month of April. It's pretty easy to use and you will be able to see the dates that have already been chosen. We hope that this rollout works well for you and if not....well we will be looking for Crazylunchlady2.0 soon!
