What a great weekend of learning with NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) Level 1. NKT is a manual therapy technique that uses manual muscle testing to identify and correct the root cause of pain and dysfunction by retraining the brain’s motor control patterns.

Shoulder pain? Trouble lifting overhead? The rotator cuff could be the reason.

Did you know?

•The rotator cuff is made up of 4 muscles that help stabilize and move your shoulder.
•You can strain or tear one (most commonly the supraspinatus) or more.
•Its job is to keep the shoulder moving efficiently, giving you strength and control.

Why It Matters.

•A strong rotator cuff is key for injury prevention, better performance, and more power with overhead activities.
•It’s important for all ages and activity levels, from athletes to everyday movement.

Here are two simple exercises to assist in strength and stabilization of the shoulder. Keeping your rotator cuff strong means better function, less pain, and more control. Give these a try and come see us if you’re dealing with shoulder pain!
