💗 We wore pink today. But it’s not just about the color.
At our Lancaster office, October feels different. It’s quieter. More thoughtful. Because Breast Cancer Awareness Month brings us closer to the real faces and stories behind the cause. 🌸
This morning, we showed up in pink t-shirts — not for fashion, not for a photo op, but for the moms, sisters, friends, and colleagues whose lives have been changed by breast cancer.
Some of us wear pink for someone we’ve lost. Some for someone still fighting. Some for ourselves. 💞
Behind every pink shirt is a story.
A reminder that:
🎗️ 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
🩺 Early detection saves lives — mammograms, self-checks, and regular screenings matter.
👨🦰 Men can get breast cancer too — awareness is just as important.
🌷 Thanks to research and community support, survival rates are improving — but there’s still work to do.
Sometimes, showing support is as simple as wearing a color.
Sometimes, it’s asking a loved one, “Have you had your check-up lately?”
Sometimes, it’s just listening. 💗
So today, we wore pink.
We talked. We remembered. We honored.
And we’ll keep doing that — not just in October, but always.
Because awareness is powerful. And together, we’re stronger. 💙
