I’m a tired mom to a baby, are you???

Try these simple, feel good movements you can do (even as early as your first week postpartum)!

1. Kneeling cat cow
2. Seated Thoracic rotation
3. Seated side bends

I hope these help your upper body feel a little more loved and nourished.

PREGNANCY MYTH: Upper body mobility doesn’t affect pregnancy or birth ⬇️

🚫FALSE!

Here’s why:
🔹 mobilizing your upper body and your rib cage is integral for breathing better which you may know feels harder as your belly grows
🔹 mobilizing your rib cage and learning to breath better helps your pelvic floor function better
🔹 fascial restrictions in the upper body can limit mobility of the sacrum which you need during birth

There’s 3 big reasons to keep practicing upper body mobility during pregnancy and even in your “birth prep”

Why are students raving about MOVE WELL classes?

Here’s what Heather says:

⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“I’ve been taking Lindsay’s classes for the last year, and the whole experience is exceptional!
She does an amazing job of focusing on a different part of the body each week and teaching about the importance of posture and breath during the exercises. Her teaching method brings you in tune with your I body with each movement. My I posture and structural strength has greatly benefitted from her method!
The beautiful setting at Dinosaur Caves Park is the cherry on top!”

If I were 36 weeks pregnant and wanted to started prepping my body for birth, here are 3 things I would do ⬇️

2. Practice pelvic floor relaxation: your pelvic floor doesn’t push your baby out- your pelvic floor muscles actually need to lengthen and yield to create space for baby to exit.

2. Quadruped hip internal rotation rock backs: this movement creates space at the bottom of the pelvis. This is great to create space for the pushing phase.

3. Hip shifted pelvic tilts: pelvic tilts are great general mobility for birth. Adding a block under one knee creates asymmetry in the pelvis which helps to stretch different parts of the pelvic floor muscles.

You got this 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

Here are 5 ways you can build back up to running postpartum ⬇️

Running after pregnancy and birth requires re-education for your pelvic floor, gait and hip/glute muscles.

Here are 5 places you can start to build your capacity ⬇️

1. Hop and bounce
2. Build single leg strength
3. Single leg hops
4. Frontal plane hip strength
5. Practice landing/impact

These movements will help you assess and train your pelvic floor/hip readiness to get back to running.
