Thank you to UMC's senior leadership team for taking the time to be here, to listen, and to support our team.

We appreciate you — and we’ll always save you a seat at our table! 🍽️

What does leadership look like at UMC? Sometimes…it looks like French toast shaped like footballs! 🍽️🏈

Last week, UMC President & CEO Mark Lenhard and other members of UMC's senior leadership team visited Pitman Manor, a UMC Community for "Food for Thought" — a special tradition that allows them to visit each community to cook a meal, spend time with teammates, and hear firsthand what they need to feel supported in their roles.

A special shout‑out to one of our incredible young volunteers, Maddox McNee! 🎻🌟

This talented violinist performs with impressive orchestras across New Jersey — and we’re honored that he shares his musical gifts with our residents.

His performances bring joy to our community, and this video is just a small glimpse of the magic he brings each time he visits. 🎶💛

We'd like to give a special shoutout to our INCREDIBLE maintenance team for staying ahead of the weather and making sure our grounds were safe and accessible for our entire community this past week.

From all of us at Pitman Manor, we THANK YOU for braving the cold and going above and beyond for our residents and fellow teammates! ❤️

🌟 “The best is yet to come” — That’s the heart of Elaine Scheetz’s journey to Pitman Manor — a move filled with courage, connection, and newfound joy.

From saying yes to her first coffee social… to personalizing her apartment with treasures she loves… to reconnecting with old friends and welcoming new ones… her story is a beautiful reminder that community can transform everything.

What is Elaine’s advice for anyone beginning their senior living journey? See here: https://umcommunities.org/pitman-manor/blog/the-best-is-yet-to-come-joyful-connections-from-your-move-to-senior-living/

Happy Birthday to Pitman Manor’s favorite furry friend, Bobo! 🐾🎉🎂

Every month, one of our Certified Nursing Assistants brings him in for a special visit, and he has quickly become a beloved member of our Pitman Manor family. Bobo spends his time saying hello to our residents, offering snuggles and, of course, enjoying a few treats along the way (his absolute favorite perk of visiting!).

Thank you, Bobo, for bringing big smiles to our community. Here’s to another year of paw‑sitively heartwarming visits! 🐶💙

Maintaining brain health as we age is more achievable than many realize. 🧠

Research shows that addressing key lifestyle factors can reduce the risk of developing dementia by nearly 50%. At UMC, we’re committed to empowering older adults with practical tools that support healthy aging.

In a recent piece by Pamela Garofolo, Vice President of Program Excellence at UMC, she highlights four daily habits that make a meaningful difference: https://umcommunities.org/pitman-manor/blog/4-daily-habits-that-support-brain-health-after-65/

Deck the halls! 🎀

As we head into the new year tomorrow, we want to offer our sincere gratitude to all of our hardworking teammates who helped make the holidays extra special for our residents this year by decorating their doorways with some festive flare.

The Christmas spirit always runs deep throughout our community, and these beautifully decorated doorways were a perfect reflection of the joy, creativity, and teamwork that make Pitman Manor so special during the holiday season. ☺️
