The office will be closed April 8th through April 24th. Due to changing of business ownership to FirstHealth Family Medicine -Chatham. Please be patient as we become a part of the FirstHealth Family. Visit firsthealth.org for any further updates. Our office will re-open on April 25th at 8 am. If you have an urgent matter that cannot wait please seek help at your local urgent care facility or your local hospital.

With sadness, but with hearts full of gratitude we wish our captain at the helm a happy retirement today! We would like to thank Dr. Garlick for his nermous years of service to this community, many of us have literally grown up in his care. I can speak for all of his staff when I say thank you for your unwavering calmness, reliability and leadership through the years. You have taught us all so much and cared for each one of us as family. You are not only a great physician, but also a wonderful man. It has been an absolute pleasure working with and for you. We wish you rest and relaxation during this well deserved retirment and also use this time to reflect on all of the lives you have touched with your care and kindness. Bon voyage Dr. Garlick!

Tracey Phillips, FNP-C is pleased to be accepting new patients of all ages.
Ms. Phillips relocated to NC in 2005. She graduated from The University of Arizona in 2003 with magna cm laude with her masters of nursing degree. Since that time, she has practiced as a board certified family nurse practitioner in both Arizona and in Durham, Moore, Wake and Randolph counties in NC. She looks forward to moving forward with Garlick and Murray in Chatham County, her home for sixteen years.

Regardless of vaccine status we ask that you not enter the building if you have any cold or flu like symptoms. We do not test for or treat COVID and defer to urgent care or in severe cases the ER for testing and treatment. We do not provide profilactic medications for COVID.
Regardless of vaccine status masks must be worn the entire time you are in the building. Thank you for your understanding as we work through the pandemic while doing our best to keep our patients as well as our staff as safe as possible.

Please note that we are still offering telemed, but on a more limited basis. We are trying to limit these calls to individuals of advanced age, anyone with a compromised immune system, or those with COVID like symptoms.

We are now seeing patients in the office. When you call to make an appointment we will ask a few screening questions to check for possible COVID 19 symptoms. As of current we still do not test for or treat COVID 19 please do not enter the building if you think you may have the virus. We are still offering telemed as an option if you are not comfortable coming in for an appointment. To keep everyone safe we are requiring the use of a mask while in the office.

We have transitioned to fully telemed. If you would like an appointment please call us and we will arrange for the doctor to call you back for an appointment over the phone. We are still doing in office lab draws. We ask that anyone entering the building please wear a mask. Thank you and we appreciate your continued patience during this time.
