What a great afternoon celebrating 74 years of the Lord’s faithfulness at Pittsboro Christian Village!

We are so thankful for the Lord’s sustaining hand over these many years and for each resident, staff member, and friend who has been part of this ministry.

A heartfelt thank you to our dining team for an outstanding steak dinner and for the care, effort, and excellence that made the event so memorable. It was a joy to gather together, reflect, and give thanks.

“To God be the glory” for 74 years, and we look ahead with confidence, knowing His faithfulness continues.

Our April newsletter is here!

We’re thankful for another month of the Lord’s faithfulness at Pittsboro Christian Village, enjoying time together, looking ahead to our 74th anniversary, and reflecting on the hope we have in Christ as we approach Easter.

We’re also looking forward to our Spring Bible Conference with Brother Mark Kolchin, which we trust will be an encouragement to many.

Caught You Caring ❤️

We recently “caught” Rebecca in the dining room doing what she does so naturally, caring well for others. Rebecca is such a compassionate and dedicated member of our team, always ready to serve both residents and fellow staff with a cheerful spirit.

We are truly thankful for the kindness, patience, and encouragement she brings each day. It’s team members like Rebecca who help make Pittsboro Christian Village a place where people feel loved, supported, and at home.

A beautiful afternoon for flying kites at Pittsboro Christian Village! 🪁

We enjoyed getting outside, feeling the breeze, and watching the kites dance in the sky. Virginia summed it up best when she said, “This is so fun, I feel 30 again!”

One of the beautiful things about life at PCV is that purpose doesn’t retire.

These smiling faces are just a few of the many residents who continue to serve faithfully behind the scenes. Even the small tasks like helping mail out our monthly newsletter are things that make a big difference in our community.

We are grateful for hearts that still look for ways to help.

As February unfolded at Pittsboro Christian Village, the cold weather lingered, but so did the warmth of fellowship and shared joy within our community. Even in the heart of winter, the Lord continues to bless this Village with meaningful moments and steady reminders of His goodness.

We had a great time taking a group of residents to Valenti’s in Sanford this week. The food was excellent, but even better was the time spent talking, laughing, and simply enjoying being together.

These outings are always something our residents look forward to. It’s a blessing to share good meals and good company, and to see so many smiling faces around the table.

Thankful for safe travels and a really enjoyable afternoon.

The first signs of spring are here! 🌼

After the quiet browns of winter, it’s always a joy to see new life and color begin to appear around campus. These little reminders tell us that a new season is coming.

Who else is excited to see the flowers pop up and the color come back?

One of the best times of worship in our care home is hymn sing. These are songs our residents have known and loved for many years, and it’s special to see them come alive again as we sing together.

We enjoyed a special Valentine’s Day meal today, thoughtfully prepared by our wonderful dining staff. The time was filled with songs, games, laughter, and a truly wonderful time together.

Most of all, we were reminded of the love we share, a love we can only know because of the Lord Jesus.

Caught you caring 💙 Celina is one of the many faithful Care Home staff members who went above and beyond during the recent storms, making personal sacrifices to ensure our residents were safe and well cared for. We are truly grateful for her heart of service.
