We are so thankful for Susan, who serves as both a resident and our accountant here at PCV. She faithfully keeps everything in order behind the scenes, using her gifts with numbers to glorify God and bless our community.

When she’s not in the office, Susan enjoys spending time playing games and spending time outside in nature. We’re grateful for the steady care she brings to her work and the way she serves both residents and staff with excellence.

🎶🎤🎹 What a night at PCV! Our Talent & Fun Night brought together residents, staff, families, and friends for an evening of laughter, music, and joy. We are so thankful for the gifts God has given each one and for the opportunity to enjoy them together as a community!

We hopped on the bus yesterday and enjoyed an afternoon at Creative Creamery, savoring hand-dipped ice cream and great conversation. Smiles, laughter, and a few empty cups were proof of a delightful time together!

Yesterday, our Coloring Club gathered around the table for a relaxing and joy-filled time together. With colored pencils in hand and creativity flowing, residents brought Scripture-themed pages to life!

It’s always a blessing to see the smiles, conversations, and quiet concentration as everyone adds their own unique touch. What a beautiful reminder that no matter the season, we can find joy in the simple things… and in each other’s company.

Mark and Joanne Grattan are our August 2025 Missionaries of the Month. Mark & Joanne are serving the Lord in Lusaka, Zambia. Commended by the Christians at Manvel Bible Chapel in Pearland, Texas in 2020, the Grattans’ ministry focuses on aviation maintenance, as well as teaching and preaching. Their daughter, Eloise, will be celebrating her 11th birthday on August 4th. Let’s be in prayer for Mark, Joanne and Eloise as they labor for the Lord in Africa.

This verse reminds us that obedience isn’t just about avoiding the wrong. It also means courageously doing what we know is right. Even when it’s inconvenient. Even when it’s hard.

At PCV, we want to be a community that responds to God’s Word not only with understanding, but also with action. Choosing integrity, kindness, and faithfulness every day.
