Did you know some dogs can have two different colored eyes? 👀🐶

This unique trait is called heterochromia. It’s commonly seen in breeds like Huskies, Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, and Catahoulas. In many cases, it’s completely normal and doesn’t affect a dog’s vision or health. However, sudden changes in eye color or cloudiness should always be checked by us.

Do you own or know a dog with two different colored eyes? Tell us in the comments!

🌿 Cat owners, check your houseplants!

Many common plants found in homes can be toxic to cats if chewed or eaten. Curious kitties love to explore, and even a small nibble of certain plants (like lilies, pothos, or snake plants) can cause serious health problems. If you think your cat may have ingested a harmful plant, contact poison control right away.

Questions about plant safety or your cat’s health? Call (919) 542-1141. 🐾🌱
