Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! We wanted to keep everyone informed of some changes happening this week.
Here's the short version: We are transitioning to a new software system! This means thinks might look a little different with our communication. This will happen tomorrow (Wednesday, November 26) so if you have an appointment tomorrow it might look a little different.
For more information on what changes you might encounter, feel free to read the long version below, or check out our newsletter if you're a subscriber. Thanks for your patience!
>>>Some changes are happening and we wanted to keep you in the loop! Be aware that we will be transitioning to a new software system effective 11/26/25. Things may look a little different, so we want to be sure you know what to expect:
1. Appointment reminders come from a new number!
You are used to getting appointment reminder texts from a certain number. Since switching to the new software, these reminder texts will start coming from a new phone number. The number you will receive text communication from going forward is: (206) 984-7049.
2. Check-in process has changed!
With this new software, we have the option for patients to check in for their appointment and complete surveys on the kiosk. This part will be rolled out in the near future and we are here to help whenever needed.
3. Completing surveys!
Another new change you will see is that you occasionally will be seeing requests for surveys before each appointment. You will be able to complete a Chief Complaint Survey from home before your appointment since that is sent 24 hours in advance of your first appointment. In some cases there will be interim and re-exam surveys to complete upon check-in. This will save time in the treatment room and allow Dr. Bennetts to focus more on your care and less on paperwork, as well as having a better idea of your needs before you even go back to the room.
4. Credit cards are no longer on file!
If you had a credit card saved on file in your previous system, you will need to re-save the card in the new system, so bring in those HSA/Flex cards if you don't normally have them with you.
5. Insurance policies need to be added!
Insurance policies do not come over in the data migration, so you will need to provide insurance information even if we have had it in the past. Luckily, our new system makes it easy with an insurance survey link that we can send you in advance.
Change can be hard, and we are learning right along with you! So we ask for your patience as we all navigate this new system together. The check-in or payment process might take a little longer at first. But we believe that this change will be the best in the long run, and we look forward to some exciting new benefits for you in the near future!
Wishing you a blessed and happy Thanksgiving,
Dr. Bennetts and Staff
