Today we hosted Mental Health First Aid for First Responders!

This evidence-based training is designed specifically for first responders and their families, addressing the unique stressors of their profession while equipping participants with practical tools to support mental health and respond when someone is struggling.

A special thank you to our guest trainers, Shelly Kelley and Angie Smith from Southeast Kansas Mental Health Center, for stepping in on short notice. We’re proud to stand alongside our first responders in prioritizing mental wellness.

Conversations like these help strengthen community partnerships and increase awareness that support is available locally here in our community.

A special thank you to the Sunrise Rotary for the warm welcome and the opportunity to connect.
