Vietnam Veterans Day is observed every year on March 29th. It honors the service and sacrifice of those who served during the Vietnam War.

On March 29th, 1973, the last U.S. combat troops left South Vietnam and the final group of American prisoners of war was released.

The idea of recognizing Vietnam veterans gained traction decades after the war ended, as many veterans had not received a proper welcome home.

Today we honor the courage and sacrifice of our Vietnam veterans. Thank you for your service and dedication.

Welcome home.

First responders are 33% more likely to develop PTSD than the general population. They are also 40% more likely to sustain a moral injury, because 80% of first responders witness events that violate their personal values.

Depression, anxiety, addictions, insomnia, anger and suicidal thoughts become the norm, impacting the first responder and his/her family.
