Pluto in Capricorn saw us becoming more restricted, forced ourselves to become more disciplined (particularly with finances and work), and we saw an emphasis on authority figures and the ruling class imposing these restrictions upon us. This makes sense because Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, while Pluto is all about death, rebirth, and reconstruction (major transformations).
See, Pluto is now officially in Aquarius for the next 20 years, so it won’t even be retrograding or transitioning back to Capricorn on our lifetime at all. And while Aquarius is also traditionally ruled by Saturn, it’s also ruled by Uranus which has a much more unpredictable, rebellious nature. Aquarius puts more of a focus on human rights, what’s best for the community instead of what’s good for the self. Aquarius is very logical, and instead of just automatically respecting authority, it questions it. Aquarius tries to make sense of everything, because without logic, how does anything realistically operate?
I predict over the next 20 years that this will be put into real-world motion, as the majority starts to genuinely question and voice their concerns over the behaviors and logic of our current authority figures. There may be a shift in focus from working and maintaining the status quo, to community building and social activism. Granted, we have some gnarly transits coming up over the next couple of years that could potentially be quite explosive. And remember that history very often repeats itself. But through this particular Pluto journey, I feel as though true intentions of the ruling class will be revealed, but also challenged to the fullest extent.
We’re already seeing this at play. ✨
