Maternal mental health deserves open, honest conversation, without shame, guilt, or unrealistic expectations. Pregnancy and postpartum experiences can include joy and anxiety, grief, overwhelm, or emotional shifts. These experiences are real, valid, and more common than we’re often told.

At Balanced Living, we believe supporting mothers means creating space to talk about the full picture, especially for Black and brown mothers whose experiences are too often minimized. You are not weak for needing support. You are human. 🤎
