Anna's Family Home Care-Caregiver Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Caregiver to provide excellent care to our clients. You will travel to the client’s home to provide personalized care. Job duties include helping them to bathe, go to the bathroom, prepare and eat meals, get dressed, light housekeeping, and providing general companionship. For some clients, you will also transport them to appointments and remind them to take medications. Our primary goal is to improve the daily lives of our clients..

Caregiver Duties and Responsibilities
Work with a variety of clients, such as the physically disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and elderly
Cook, dress, bathe, and assist clients in using the restroom
Picking up heavy objects and performing housekeeping tasks
Remind clients to take medication
Transport clients to appointments or outings

Caregiver Requirements and Qualifications
2 Step TB *REQUIRED*
CPR *REQUIRED*
BACKROUND CHECK
Experience as a caregiver a plus
Knowledgeable in basic emergency and safety techniques
Be in good physical condition
Reliable transportation
Flexible schedule

For seniors, Cleaning their homes can be difficult due to inability to reach high places or difficulty moving for long periods of time. Cleaning help for seniors can vary in levels of service but in this post, we are going to specifically examine light housekeeping and what that entails.
When looking for help with light housekeeping you’ll see the term “light housekeeping” thrown around. But what is considered “Light”? Light housekeeping is just that: Light. It’s cleaning up after oneself and providing peace of mind rather than heavy cleaning.
