“I’ve been to several PT places over the years and wish I had found PT Unlimited sooner. Here, I never felt rushed or like just another patient on the schedule. Colleen and Rona checked in often, adjusted things as I improved, and always made sure I could move without pain.

Now I’m pretty much back to normal, and I can’t say enough good things about them. When PT Unlimited says you get individualized attention, they truly mean it. If I ever need PT again, I’ll be back.” – Jim J.

We’re grateful for patients like Jim who trust us to walk alongside them, one pain-free step at a time.

Every spring, we see the same thing: people overdo it in the yard after months of inactivity — and their back pays the price.

Yard work isn't "light activity." Raking, digging, lifting, and bending for hours is a real physical demand.

Three ways to protect your back this season:

1. Warm up before you start — 5 minutes of movement matters
2. Alternate tasks — don't rake for 2 hours straight
3. Lift with your legs — every single time

Been dealing with back pain? Don't push through it. Address it.
We can help.

Your body isn't broken — it just slowed down.

After a long winter of less movement, reduced sunlight, and more time sitting, stiffness and tightness are completely normal.

What's actually happening:
→ Reduced circulation from inactivity
→ Shortened hip flexors from extended sitting
→ Decreased joint mobility without regular loading
→ Muscle underactivation over time

The fix isn't a foam roller once a week.
It's consistent, structured movement — starting now.

Need a plan? That's what we're here for.

Watching The Masters has a way of making all of us want to dust off the clubs and get back on the course.

If you’re excited to play but held back by back pain, hip stiffness, or an inconsistent swing, you’re not alone—and you don’t just have to “play through it.” At PT Unlimited, we focus on helping you move pain-free so you can enjoy your rounds again.

A TPI Golf Screen is a 30-minute, one-on-one movement assessment with our TPI-Certified physical therapist. We look at how your body moves during your swing, identify what’s limiting your power or control, and give you clear, customized exercises to start improving right away.

No guesswork. No pushing through pain. Just practical guidance to help you feel better, play longer, and stay confident on the course.

All April, we’re offering TPI Golf Screens for $25.

To celebrate spring and the tradition of The Masters — the greatest golf tournament in the world — we're offering a special TPI Golf Screening for just $25.

Colleen and our TPI-certified providers understand both your swing and your body — your joints, muscles, and movement patterns.

A 30-minute screening looks at how you move, where you're strong, and where small adjustments could help you play more comfortably and confidently. You'll also receive a customized exercise program to take home.

Schedule your screening through April — appointments available into May.

The sidewalks are clear and the motivation is back — but is your body ready?

After months of reduced activity, jumping back into daily walks without preparation can lead to unnecessary pain or injury.

Here's how to return to outdoor walking the right way:

→ Start shorter than you think you need to
→ Focus on surface changes (concrete vs. grass vs. gravel)
→ Check your footwear — winter boots ≠ walking shoes
→ Warm up before. Cool down after. Every time.

Consistency beats intensity. Build it back the right way.

Happy Spring 🌷
As the weather (hopefully) warms up and yard work begins, it’s important to ease back into activity safely.

A gradual return to bending, lifting, and outdoor tasks helps protect your back, hips, and knees — and keeps you enjoying the season longer.

Save this before you head outside.
