Using your presentation or image to communicate authority as a woman in tech is more complicated than buying suiting. There are more questions to explore in an environment that is casual and laid back. How do you strike that perfect balance between "I have put thought into my look." and "I don't want to look buttoned up or stuffy."?

Drawing from inspiration that included retro vibes, snowboarder video game character, and southern prep, I designed this collection where comfort was king and my client's personality got to shine through.

The compliments began her first time out of the house in one of her new looks and have been streaming in over the weeks that followed.

We are so honored every time a new client trusts us with their particular set of desires and problems to solve. Cracking the code and using my knowledge of brands, fit, and silhouette to create looks that feel authentic to each individual client is a complete joy.

The new year is a perfect time to assess your wardrobe and set yourself up for success in 2025. 

When you know what you have and what you are missing, you will focus and prioritize your shopping to your most needed items. 

This will help you eliminate both panic buying and panic dressing and therefore save you time and relieve stress.

We visited this client’s closet a few years ago and learned that it was full of professional gems, especially her blazer collection! I pulled together these never-been-tried-before outfit combinations for her to wear to her speaking engagements and higher level meetings. As I was styling these looks, we discovered she needed new professional footwear and a few neutral blouses.

Consciously investing in these items updated and completed her outfits!

Hi everyone! I wanted to enter into the new year re-introducing you to me and our team at Vallozzi Styling.

I am Rachel Vallozzi, founder and personal stylist. I have been working as a professional stylist for almost 20 years, dressing clients for their unique lifestyles and actors and models for print, commercials, tv, film, and stage. I come from a long line of entrepreneurs, from my Italian immigrant great grandfather who owned a tailor shop in Greensburg to the restaurateurs Ernie and Julian Vallozzi. Opening my first business in 2001 at the age of 21, my self starter impulse has always been strong. In 2022, motivated by the desire to give my clients a full service luxury shopping and styling experience, I opened a studio in Shadyside. Here we build personalized seasonal wardrobe collections for individuals and host them for a private fitting. Outside of my styling business, I enjoy working in my flower garden and dancing

This is a true family business - Danita Greaser is both my wife and our studio manager. Sourcing clothes and accessories from around the world for each client takes A LOT of organization and Danita is behind it all - from tracking and processing purchases and returns to keeping clients’ budgets, she holds down the logistics of the operation. When we travel to your closets, Danita takes the stylized laydown outfit photos. She is also integral in brainstorming, copy editing, and researching.

Jamie Miller and I go way back. We first met in 2003 at Kharisma Vintage Fashions, the vintage clothing store I used to own in the South Side. She has had a 20+ year career of tailoring and dressmaking from costume houses around Pittsburgh to her endless list of clients. Jamie is my personal tailor, so I know the precision she puts into each stitch and the creativity she pours into problem-solving fit. We are thrilled to have her as our studio tailor.

Thank you for all of your support. We truly love this work - watching you light up in your new looks when the fit is right and an outfit is in alignment with your authentic style means absolutely everything to us! We can’t wait to grow and evolve with you in 2025!
