“I don’t feel like I know who I truly am. I’ve always been something to someone else.”

A woman said this to me recently when inquiring about coaching—and I can’t tell you how often I hear a version of this same sentiment.

So many women come to me feeling disconnected from who they really are. After years of being the caretaker, the partner, the professional, the whatever-the-world-needed-them-to-be… they’ve lost touch with their own identity.

Because this theme keeps showing up, I’m exploring the idea of offering a group coaching space for women navigating identity loss and self-reclamation.

Why group coaching?

Connection. You’ll realize you’re not the only one.

Affordability. It’s more accessible than private coaching.

Support. We build a circle—a space where women hold space for each other as we return to ourselves.

If this resonates with you—or you know someone it might—reach out. I’m listening. Let’s find our way back home, together.

There comes a quiet moment in many women’s lives—often after years of pouring themselves into being a wife, a mother, a caretaker—when they pause and wonder: Where did I go?

It’s not a dramatic disappearance. It’s a slow fading. A soft surrendering of self in service to the people we love. And while that devotion is beautiful and deeply meaningful, it can also leave a woman standing in the mirror one day, unable to fully recognize the person looking back.

But here's the truth: she was never lost—just buried beneath years of “being everything for everyone else.” And there is something sacred about the moment she begins to rise again.

That’s what makes a bo***ir photography session so much more than photos. For many women, it becomes a reclamation. A quiet rebellion. A soul-stirring return.

When a woman steps in front of the camera—not for her partner, not for a milestone, but purely for herself—she’s saying I’m still here.

Meet S. This is her second session with me and this is a small rendition of the journey she’s on right now. She reached out to me to help with that and I was thrilled! I couldn’t have been more ready to celebrate her choice to see herself not through the eyes of who she’s been to others, but through the truth of who she is at her core: radiant, powerful, sensual, worthy.

Do you see that first photo? There is healing in that kind of gaze. There is liberation in feeling both softness and strength, vulnerability and fire. And often, it’s not just about the clothes or the pose—it’s about the moment she catches her own reflection and remembers that part of herself she forgot: the part that still desires, still dreams, still deserves.

Bo***ir becomes a ceremony. A homecoming. A deep exhale into wholeness because the woman she’s becoming isn’t new; she’s just been waiting for the invitation to rise.

Are you ready to rise, love?

In a world where everyone is building something—whether it’s a business, a platform, or a passion project—your branding photos matter more than ever. But not just any photos. The ones that feel like you. The ones where your energy comes through, not just your outfit.

Good branding photography isn’t about looking “perfect.” It’s about looking true. It's about letting people see the heart behind what you do. The spark in your eyes, the quirks that make you unforgettable, the vibe that sets you apart.

That kind of authenticity can’t be manufactured—it’s captured. Which is why trusting your photographer is everything.

You should feel seen. Understood. Gotten. The right photographer doesn’t just pose you—they read you. They create space for you to relax, to breathe, to show up fully as yourself. And when that happens, the magic comes through effortlessly.

Your brand isn’t just your logo or your colors—it’s your story. And you deserve photos that tell it honestly, beautifully, and unapologetically.

So when you choose someone to photograph your brand, make sure they don’t just see your face—make sure they see you.

"I don’t feel like I know who I truly am. I've always been something to someone else."

When I read these words from a potential client, my heart ached with recognition. So many women carry this hidden, heavy truth—shaped by expectations, roles, and the endless giving of ourselves to others.

But here's what I want you to know: you are not lost—you’ve just been buried beneath layers that were never really yours.
In our coaching together, we gently peel back those layers. We explore your values, desires, and voice—your true self. You’ll learn to see your worth not in what you do for others, but in who you are at your core.

This is your space to remember you.

Because the theme of identity (loss) has been so prevalent lately, I’m considering opening up group coaching for women that feel like this concept is front and center. Whether it’s 1:1 or group coaching, if this post piqued your interest, reach out let’s chat.

You’re not here to be everything to everyone. You’re here to be you—boldly, freely, and unapologetically.
If this speaks to you, I’m here when you’re ready.

I used to care—a lot. About how I looked, how I was perceived, if I was pleasing enough, quiet enough, likable enough. I spent the first half of my life being who I was taught to be. Polished. Polite. Predictable. I was domesticated into roles that looked good from the outside, but didn’t always feel good on the inside.

But something happens in the second half. The roles start to crack. The pretending gets exhausting. And slowly, beautifully, I began to dismantle everything that wasn’t truly mine.

This half? This is where I found my freedom. My voice. My no. My wild. My laugh-that-snorts, dance-in-the-kitchen, bold lipstick on a Tuesday kind of energy. I stopped asking for permission. I stopped apologizing for taking up space. And I stopped giving two f***s about who might not approve.

And here’s the wildest part: the more me I became—unfiltered, raw, real—the more magnetic I felt. Not because I was trying to be anything. But because I was finally being everything I actually am.

There’s something luminous about a woman who no longer needs the world’s approval to feel worthy. Her light isn’t for show—it’s truth. It’s fire. And it calls in exactly who and what she’s meant for.

This second half of life? It’s not a decline; it’s a return.
And I’ve never felt more alive.

Welcome to your Breadcrumb Era

eadcrumb Era
May 27
There’s a quiet kind of magic happening all around you—if you’re willing to slow down and notice it.

Call it intuition, call it alignment, call it divine timing. I call it your Breadcrumb Era—a season of life where the universe doesn’t hand you the whole map, but it does offer little clues, nudges, and whispers. A song lyric that hits different. A conversation that sparks something. An idea you can’t stop thinking about. These aren't coincidences—they're breadcrumbs.

And if you're paying attention? They lead you home. To your most honest joy. To your truest self.

But it takes presence. It takes curiosity. It takes a willingness to trust what you feel more than what you’ve been taught to fear. Most of all, it takes belief that even if you can’t see the whole path, the next step will always find you.

So if life feels uncertain right now, take heart. You’re not lost—you’re in the middle of something beautiful unfolding. Just keep your eyes open, your heart soft, and follow the breadcrumbs. They know the way.

And so do you.

The Mirror in Your Mouth: Soulful Wisdom in the Advice We Give

Have you ever noticed how easily wisdom flows when a friend comes to you for guidance? How the right words seem to rise up, offering clarity, comfort, or encouragement? And yet, those same words often echo back with surprising relevance to your own life.

There’s a soulful truth woven into this experience: the advice you offer others is often a reflection of the lessons life is whispering to you. It’s not just coincidence—it's consciousness at work. Your soul, ever gentle and patient, uses these moments of outward care to turn your gaze inward.

When you tell someone, “Be kinder to yourself,” perhaps a deeper part of you is longing for that same compassion. When you urge someone to trust the process, maybe it’s your own heart that needs reassurance. These words aren’t just for them; they are a sacred mirror, revealing the terrain of your own growth and healing.

Life is not linear—it’s layered. And every time you speak from a place of love or clarity, you are brushing up against the divine wisdom within you. The advice you give is not just what you know—it’s often what you need to know again.

So the next time you catch yourself offering a profound insight to a friend, pause. Breathe. Ask yourself, “Where in my life could this message apply?” You might find that your own soul has been speaking through you all along, hoping you’d finally hear.

Trusting the Wings, Not the Branch

“The bird doesn’t land on the branch hoping it won’t break; it lands on the branch trusting its ability to fly away.”

There’s a quiet wisdom in this quote.

As a transformational life coach, I often witness how much of our peace hinges on what we cling to for safety—whether it's a relationship, a job, a role, or even a belief. We try to land softly, cautiously, scanning the ground for cracks, afraid of breaking. But the truth is, life doesn’t promise us unshakable ground.

Like the bird, our deepest sense of security can’t come from the branch. It must come from within—from trusting our own wings.

This kind of self-trust doesn’t roar; it whispers. It’s a quiet knowing that even if things shift, even if the branch snaps, you will not fall apart. You will rise, regroup, and fly again.

Transformation begins when we stop needing the world to stay still, and instead start believing in our ability to move with grace, to adapt, and to soar—again and again.

Softly but powerfully, the invitation is this: stop measuring the strength of the branch. Start remembering the strength of your wings.

Soul to Skin: The Vulnerability of Couple’s Bo***ir

There’s something profoundly beautiful that unfolds during a couple's bo***ir session—something far deeper than the sensual aesthetic often associated with the genre. It’s not just about images; it’s about connection.

This session took place in 2021, and I hung onto it for some reason. I have photographed the beautiful woman in these photos before and met her incredible husband the day of her shoot. When they asked me to travel to Charleston, SC, to photograph them together, I mean…there was no way I was turning that down! And, folks…it was glorious.

I think I held onto the photos for so long because the intense intimacy during the session between these two was nothing less than magical. Yes, I was there in the room, but it was like I wasn’t. When I got to quietly witness such an intertwining on this level, it made me feel as if I needed to protect their experience.

I knew the photos would find me again at some point, and it’s no surprise it was this year. 2025 has been a year of redefining and rediscovering intimacy on all levels for me. The thick walls once constructed to keep me safe no longer belong to the person I am today. Deconstructing them has been interesting and not just a little fascinating. It took me a very (very) long time to understand that vulnerability is courageous. It’s the brave act of knowing you may be rejected and hurt, but choosing to engage anyway because you believe you’re strong enough to heal from the pain. That’s fearless. I want to be fearless.

Couple’s bo***ir isn’t just a photo session; it’s a celebration of trust, intimacy, and the sacred bond between two people choosing each other, over and over again. And that? That’s where the fire lives. Where love isn’t just seen, it’s felt down into the bones.
