Our team members attended this year's American Diabetes Association Pittsburgh Step Out Walk at PNC Park recently. We were proud to sponsor and be a part of this important event and help the ADA raise over $530,000 for diabetes research and management. We were happy to help make a difference!

It's National Farmers Market Week. At Highmark Wholecare, we have supported our communities through free farmers markets with collaboration from the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and Westmoreland Food Bank. So far, our team members have distributed 70,000 pounds of fresh produce in 2025, with a goal of 120,000 pounds by the end of the year. We are proud to help feed our communities and combat food insecurity!

Smiles across the state: Highmark Wholecare and United Concordia Dental were back out on the road in July for the Healthy Smiles for Miles dental tour. With stops in 10 cities across Pennsylvania, hundreds of Highmark CHIP and Wholecare members were provided free dental services like exams, cleanings, X-rays and fluoride treatments. The tour picks up again in August.
