Getting to know.... Kim!

If you’ve ever grabbed a meal at the Madison Café, you’ve likely met Kim — often recognized as “the girl with the red hair.” For more than 11 years, she’s been part of the Baptist Senior Family team, helping keep the café running each day.

Kim’s background in food service began long before Providence Point, from Long John Silver’s to preparing salads at Manor Care in Green Tree. Today, she starts her mornings with desserts and breakfast prep before moving on to salads, sandwiches, fruit, and more.

What she enjoys most is interacting with residents and being part of the daily rhythm of the café.

Originally from Carnegie and now living in Dormont, Kim enjoys video games, movies, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. She’s especially thankful to work alongside her daughter, Rose.

Her best advice? It doesn’t cost anything to be kind.

Valentine’s Day at Providence Point looked a little extra special this year.

We celebrated with a vow renewal for 9 couples (542 years of marriage between them!) and wrapped it up with a reception where everyone could enjoy time together.

Sharing a few highlights from the day below.

Love, laughter, cake, and a really nice afternoon with our community.
