Beginning in 2024, Newsweek publishes a ranking of top CCRCs in the US, which highlights communities that consistently deliver quality, safety and resident satisfaction. The 2026 list, published last week, highlights the top 330 communities out of 1900 total CCRCs in the US. This ranking is based on resident, family, and physician satisfaction and identifies CARF Accreditation as an important factor in measuring quality.

Providence Point is proud to be named to the list of top CCRCs in the US, and to be among the top 25 in Pennsylvania!

Gabby, our dietician from Cura, and our Head Chef Caleb recently hosted a demo featuring a Cura Hospitality BeWell walnut cookie butter recipe. Gabby shared the health benefits of walnuts, while Caleb highlighted the ingredients and how the recipe comes together. Residents enjoyed sampling the walnut butter with apple slices and pretzels and had the chance to ask questions about nutrition and preparation.

Last month, guests gathered at Spoonwood Brewing Co. for Raise a Glass with Pirates’ Steve Blass. Steve reflected on his baseball career and his experience living at Providence Point, making for a great night of conversation and laughter.

Our VP of Philanthropy for Baptist Homes Foundation, Dr. Z. Allen Abbott, recently participated in the LeadingAge Conference as both a guest on LeadingAge LIVE to discuss innovations in Philanthropy and as a host of the LeadingAge Philanthropy Peer Network Luncheon. It was a great opportunity to share his experiences with the Baptist Senior Family and connect with peers in the field.
