🥖 Kick Off October with Kindness – Panera Round Up! 💗 Starting today, October 1st, Cancer Bridges & YWBCAF are teaming up with 31 Pittsburgh-area Panera Bread cafés all month long!

When you round up your total at the register, every cent supports free programs for individuals & families impacted by cancer. ✨

This group, facilitated by Cheryl Harris, meets virtually on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The African American Women's Cancer Support Group is open to individuals diagnosed with any cancer, at any stage of their journey, and those who support them. 🌞 October is Energy Awareness Month! 🌱

At Cancer Bridges, we’re proud to celebrate sustainability and energy awareness all year long. Thanks to a generous $116,000 sustainability grant from Green Mountain Energy Company Sun Club, we were able to install a 46kW solar panels array system on our building—helping reduce our carbon footprint while supporting the programs and services our community relies on.

A big thank you to Green Mountain Energy Sun Club for partnering with us to make this possible! Every step toward clean energy helps our planet and strengthens the work we do for the families we serve.

Family & Youth: Beading Night Recap!

What a fun evening we had this week at Beading Night with Bre and Leah. Families and youth came together to create Perler bead designs, friendship bracelets, animal keychains, and more—all while enjoying delicious ice cream sundaes to celebrate the start of Fall.
