KidStrong is Athletic Play—a new kind of activity for kids ages 1-11 that builds confidence, character and family connection through science-based fitness games led by expert coaches. Our program is designed with the whole child in mind, focusing on three key pillars: Character, Physical and Cognitive development. We teach kids to believe in themselves, show parents their kid’s superpowers and help families grow together in moments of celebration and showing off.

The kids are finally back in school, and while the stress of adjusting to a new routine of early mornings, packed lunches, and homework help, we've got the perfect way for you to unwind.

Take a few hours for yourself with our Parents' Night Out! Drop the kids with us for a fun-filled evening while you enjoy a well-deserved break. They'll have a blast with games, activities, and new friends.

This week at KidStrong, we’re continuing to focus on one of the most important and versatile bodyweight skills: THE PUSH-UP! 💥💥

Push-ups support whole-child development because they are:

✔️ A functional movement that supports joint alignment
✔️ A core, shoulder and postural strength builder—which supports kids inside and outside of the classroom

Push-ups aren’t just a strength exercise—they’re a developmental power move. 💪

This week at KidStrong, we’re celebrating our kids’ progress in gymnastics-based skills, especially the push-up—a foundational movement with BIG benefits:

💪 Full body strength—Push-ups are one of the most efficient ways to build total-body strength safely.

🧠 Mind-body connection—Proper form requires coordination between the brain and the body, stabilizing the spine, aligning the joints, and controlling the movement from start to finish.

💥 Confidence—Gymnastics skills help kids learn what their bodies can do, adjust their movements in real-time, and work through challenges to build confidence.

Exciting news! KidStrong North Hills is under new ownership!! Shawn and Heather Pulpan are the proud new owners of our center. You may be familiar with them - their 6-year-old son, Benjamin, has been a member since our center opened. A note from the new owners:

Hello everyone! Heather Pulpan here 👋
We have been members of KidStrong North Hills since its opening and love how the program has impacted our son, Benjamin. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past 6 years and, now that our son is in school and doesn't need me as much (🥺), I have been wondering what my next chapter in life would consist of. The stars aligned and my next chapter is starting! I can not begin to tell you how excited I am to continue growing our KidStrong community. While Shawn will be doing a few things behind the scenes, I'll be the one popping in and out of the center more frequently. We've already been brainstorming ideas for member appreciation events, charity work, and community involvement. Thank you all for being here and for believing in the mission of KidStrong! We look forward to meeting all of you. Great things to come!!!

Balance may look like a beam and a few careful steps—but it is SO much more.

🌟 This week at KidStrong, we’re proud to see so many kids conquering balance challenges and building skills for life along the way!🌟

While practicing balance, kids are also building:

⚖️ Focus: Staying steady starts with concentration.
⚖️ Core strength: Balance challenges activate key muscles that support stability and power for every move we make.
⚖️ Cognitive awareness: Balance stimulates the vestibular system (inner ear), which connects to brain areas in charge of learning and attention.
⚖️ Motor skills: Balance refines gross motor skills and fine motor skills alike, helping kids get the grounding they need for precise movements.
⚖️ A healthy future: Walking, running, good posture, even carrying backpacks and reaching for items on high shelves require balance and stability.

It isn’t all fun and games—even though a lot of it is! By practicing balance, kids learn how to move through the world with confidence, so they’re ready to face any challenge life throws their way. 💪
