We all do hard things everyday. Lately, finding and scheduling preventative care can feel that way. Look for the big health systems in Pittsburgh and other cities to share information about mammograms and the ways they are trying to address long waits, etc. AHN is having an event on Sunday October 19th in Wexford (registration is needed as space is limited) and offering walk-in mammograms starting today, October 1st, Monday-Friday until 12:30 at multiple locations. UPMC has declared they have some same day appointments and short waits for mammograms. The system is flawed but we are all deserving of good preventative medical care. 💙
