I spent my entire life involved with sports, physical activity and exercise. Throughout school I played soccer, football and wrestling. My passion is extreme sports which include snowboarding, BMX and outdoor activities. In 8th grade I was introduced to exercise and structured training outside of a traditional sports practice. Since then I have not stopped. I pursued Exercise Science at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I achieved a certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I was blessed to be an intern and work as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Sports Evolution and CrossFit in Altoona, PA. I was blessed again to accept the position as Personal Trainer for Anytime Fitness of Glenshaw in Pittsburgh, PA. I am thankful for the following experience to work as a Membership Advisor at Healthtrax Fitness and Welness in Bethel Park, PA. Currently I am a personal trainer at FitHouse in McMurray, PA. I am enjoying my time at FitHouse, surrounded by kind, inspiring and excellent people. I'm starting this business to reach more people, to reconnect with those who I've met before and to meet and help new people. I am so grateful for the life I have lived and where I'm heading. I feel that each experience in my exercise and training history, I have been surrounded by the best. I appreciate the help and support from my family and friends and the businesses I've served that helped inspire this idea. I intend to use this business to help people to the best of my ability.

I’m so grateful for another health and business trip with one of my clients who is helping me create a new or different experience in the fitness industry. Some of you may know that we went to Miami in November and now to Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Jupiter Beach!
When you spend a lot of time driving but happen to see the signs that say, “Miami and W. Palm Beach,” you know you’re in a special place! The intent of this trip was to create the time to discuss future business plans while spending time in a beautiful place, in a healthy way. The power of good company, positive conversations, sunlight, a relaxing environment, healthy food and low-intensity physical activity can often be overlooked when thinking about what it takes to “get in shape or incorporate a healthy lifestyle.”
We took a two mile walk from our hotel to the Juipter Lighthouse and back, walked the beaches, meditated in the sun, all while sending our prayers and spreading positivity the entire time! A change of environment can snap you out of traditional thought processes that do not serve you and spark new creativity.
We explored the beaches, visited a turtle rescue sanctuary and ate at some health-conscious restaurants. It’s good to know the Christopher’s of West Palm have something in common with the Christopher’s of Pittsburgh! Lol
Think about where you could go, close or far, to promote a sense of inner peace and connection to mother nature. A place that encourages you to take on a new kind of physical activities or a place that is quiet and gives you the opportunity to meditate. It could be as simple as a quiet trail in the woods, a local park, a beach, a mountain or anywhere that gets you out of your daily environment. Spend a day or two prioritizing sleep, seeking the healthiest foods, being still and calming the body and mind. You may begin to find a pattern that is truly energizing but calming, inspiring but peaceful. Then, can you come back to your traditional day and implement these new activities or rituals into your day.
Keep things simple, it may start with a 15-minute walk on your lunch break. Or sitting in your office, closing your eyes and deep breathing for 3 minutes. Maybe on the way home you can stop at a local park or trail, pull out your running shoes or hiking boots and take a quick 20-minute walk. Leave your work stress somewhere else before you take it home and unload it on your family or pets.
Do not underestimate the power of waking up earlier in the morning, getting outside, even in the cold, taking a walk while in peace or listening to your favorite energizing music. You will feel like you’re getting ahead, a feeling of starting your day with intent to create a better day. Get up early and take a walk while purposely choosing energizing thoughts and focusing on the things in life you are grateful for.
The difference in a good day and a bad day is all about how you choose to perceive it. The simple tasks listed provide easy strategies that will help anyone begin the change of living a healthier lifestyle. Choose to live out the day you want and set goals that are special to you and worth achieving! 💪

Hoping you’re having a great weekend and a happy new year! I wish yinz a safe, healthy, fun and prosperous new year!

On the last day of 2019, a client wanted to trade a typical exercise training session for a winter wilderness walk. The goal was to reflect on the year, get out of our typical environment and set our intentions for the new year. The snow finally started to fall and McConnells Mill State Park was so peaceful and beautiful! We left the park inspired, energized, calm and creative as the new year came to an end.

On the first day of 2020 I was grateful to spend time with friends and family. I took another walk, but this time was a little different! The Yoke Walk is a Strongman event and is a testament to strength, power and mental toughness. Acting as a typical "tough guy" and doing what I do for a living, of course I had to go pick it up! lol My first Yoke Walk of the year was difficult and humbling. Insightful but motivating. To build up the intensity in your mind and take on a difficult challenge can also be so inspiring and energizing!

You may relate to one of my walks more than the other, maybe to both! But what is it that you will do this year that serves your health and energy? How will you see your way out of the 2019 mindset and get your 2020 vision! As we are all aging, some of us are getting tired, down on ourselves, stressed out of our minds and maybe also disconnected from a purpose, healthy living or from mother nature. Is there an event, exercise, ritual, vacation, meditation or celebration that you can do this year to improve yourself and take 2020 to a higher level!?

“Be the change you wish to see in the world!” If you resonate with that quote you’re probably working hard and taking action towards your goals. Those goals are most likely connected to being the change and helping others make that change happen. If you know me, hopefully you can see that I continually work to be a better version of myself and want the same for everyone I know.

As I begin to share my life, business and story through social media, I’ll warn you now that you’re not going to get any negativity, complaining, worry, stress, fear or hate from my channels! Lol We all need more love, help, inspiration, energy, relationships, fun and success!

If you’re interested in more energy, strength, endurance, weight loss, mental focus and calmness, I can help do that. If you click on or copy and paste the link into a web browser, once you answer the questions, it will take you into an app that we can communicate this information. There are exercise programs with videos, a basic eating schedule to promote energy and weight loss, along with a bunch of recipes and other information that will get you started.

This is all free and comes with a free 30-minute we**am exercise session through Skype or Facebook. We will talk about what you’re interested in and give you an idea about what is possible! Everyone is welcome, I’ll be happy to talk with anybody who signs up, no matter how crazy you are or how crazy you may think I am! Lol

Thank you Tricia and the Handmade Arcade for a really cool experience! I’m looking forward to meeting the personal training raffle winner who gets to be my next victim, I mean my next life changing transformation, however you prefer to view it! Lol

We toured the whole event and it was cool to connect with a lot of small business owners from ! The blue guy with antlers created by MadKnits kind of looks like me after a long day of traveling and training! Lol 😂

When I came across the Honest Amish table, I asked how to get a beard like this guy!? I tried a free sample of the beard balm on my baby face and all of a sudden… I grew a small beard! I had to pick up some product to apply to the top of my head lol Amazing stuff, their products smell good too!

And don’t worry, if you see the table coaster picture, the Handmade Arcade is not an airport, but these coasters may be appropriate for your home or workplace! 🤣

Be safe out there Pittsburgh, watch out for those potholes!

Thank you to Tricia of Handmade Arcade who is giving away cyfit personal training sessions and a custom fitness program this weekend at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center!

If you're into the arts and looking for some fun, come out this weekend to the Handmade Arcade. I'll be there Saturday afternoon by 1pm, but there are activities going on all weekend! You may find me in the corner building a box for clients to squat to or jump on, maybe learning how to forge my own barbells! 😂

Check out the link, if you watch the video, Tricia is on the far left and has been running this event for quite some time now! Her and I have been training for the last two months, lots of fun and laughing during our exercise sessions! I've been impressed by her progress so far and looking forward to all the great workouts of the future!
