We ❤️ St. Margaret! Today, we are handing out Sarris chocolate bars for every employee at St. Margaret - managers, please stop by the HR office to collect them for you and your staff! We will be here until noon.

This morning, the Employee Experience Council welcomed employees to work with donuts, coffee, and treats.

Volunteers Tom and Marylin spent this morning handing out sweet Valentine’s Day bears to every patient, as a gift directly from donors. Thank you to those of you who donated, making this possible. Tom said these gifts were extremely well received and appreciated. Small acts of kindness go a very long way!

Will you send a patient a Valentine?

We expect about 150 patients to be at St. Margaret Hospital on Valentine's Day. These are patients who are hoping to celebrate with their loved ones and are instead facing an illness in the hospital, which can feel overwhelming and scary.

Our goal is to make their Valentine's Day a bit brighter with a token of love and support from donors. With your help, volunteers like Tom and Marylin can deliver a Valentine’s Day bear to each patient in the hospital on February 14. You can also give via check (if the check is dated for 2025, it will count for 2025). This year, our patients have faced an unprecedented crisis. With federal funding cuts, many have been faced with impossible situations, like choosing between buying groceries and buying expensive medications. Be the helping hand for patients in crisis today!

Today is Giving Tuesday! Your support is needed today more than ever to reach the $50,000 goal for patients in crisis. The goal is higher than ever this year because St. Margaret patients are facing an unprecedented crisis. Federal cuts have left patients with reduced or removed SNAP benefits, without essential transportation, with increased medication costs, and more.

🧡 Season of Gratitude: throughout the month of November, we are highlighting our gratitude for some of the folks in our lives at St. Margaret Foundation.

Today, we are grateful for Michelle Sallinger-Moorehead. Michelle in an Administrative Supervisor in St. Margaret Hospital's Radiology Department, but she is also a vital member of the Employee Experience Council. If you are an employee here at St. Margaret, you've probably gotten an email from her about the many food trucks that she and everyone on the Employee Experience Council work hard to organize. Michelle and the EEC also pack the non-perishable food bags for employees in need, book fun events like kangaroo and mini-horse visits, organize the candy carts, and more. Thank you for making St. Margaret such a great place to work, Michelle!
