i want to thank everyone so much for helping me through my baking competition the last 6 weeks. It’s been a long road of voting, I was knocked into 3rd place during the last hour of the group phase, & won’t be able to continue into quarterfinals.
i’m glad i decided to do it, no regrets. i was consistent & did my best, & you all did your best at voting. it’s much appreciated.
more importantly, through me deciding to do this competition, i was able to help raise a couple hundred dollars by those of you who decided to vote by donation. those funds are going directly to kids battling cancer. & i’m grateful that i got to be a small part in helping that occur.
there were family members who voted, people who are friends that voted, people i haven’t seen in years that voted, & people who didn’t even personally know me. there were also people who i thought would support me, & chose not to. i could see all the votes, & i want to thank the ones who supported me through this. maybe next year ill take another crack at it, but for now, this door is closing & i have bigger ones opening. thank you so much.
