We're looking for a Quality Technician for our Production Plant at our Pleasant Hills location. The Quality Technician will be a constant Quality representative on our production floor and will ensure that all employees are practicing cGMPs.

Shift Hours (Shift-Choice Optional): 5am-2pm, 2pm-11pm

Responsibilities/Duties:
• Conduct internal audits of production line(s), warehouses, and other applicable areas
• Perform analytical testing such as water activity and gluten testing
• Inspect packaged product and labels
• Perform and monitor line clearance after every lot
• Ensure production is following all production guides
• Monitor GMP compliance of employees and make corrections when necessary
• Communicate all major food safety and quality issues to Quality Managers or above

Qualifications:
• High school diploma
• At least 1 year working in a manufacturing environment similar to Bakery Barn, LLC.

Physical Environment:
This position is in a manufacturing facility and involves standing, lifting, bending and walking for extended periods throughout the day. You will be working with the following allergens on a daily basis: Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Milk, Eggs, Soy, Wheat, and Fish.
