CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2024. We were delighted to have the Go Team Pittsburgh Crisis & Therapy Dogs do part of their certification at Vincentian Marian Manor. They were tested on stairs, elevators and resident engagement. Congrats to the handlers and dogs for their amazing work!

WE WILL, WE WILL ROCK YOU! The preschoolers from Vincentian Child Discovery Center Greentree, residents, volunteers and staff worked together painting rocks for the Intergenerational Garden at Vincentian Home. We're gearing up for Intergenerational Week, April 24-30th. Lots of fun activities in store!

Several residents at Vincentian Marian Manor and students from the University of Pittsburgh participated in a new intergenerational art program called Opening Minds Through Art. At the end of the program, there was an art show to feature the beautiful artwork that the residents made.

SNOW much fun! Snowballs, Snowmen and Snow treats for everyone at our annual SNOWFEST with the Pitt Pharmacy students. Residents played a variety of snowball games, had a snowball fight and everyone enjoyed snowy treats!

GIVING BACK! Community service projects are a great way to get residents involved in supporting those in need. Our current community service project is making Birthday Cake kits. Each kit contains a box of cake mix, icing, a can of Sprite (used in place of oil and eggs - who knew?), candles and a birthday card. This is packaged in a 13 x 9 aluminum cake pan. The Birthday kits then go to the Food Bank for distribution. Kudos to the residents!
