Meet Southwood's new furry friend and therapy dog, Nougat! 🐾

Nougat and his handler, Rob, join us for group therapy every week, creating a calm and friendly environment where children and adolescents feel relaxed, supported, and safe to share what's on their mind.

These visits are the highlight of the week - for both our youth and our staff - and we are so grateful for the time they dedicate to spreading joy and paws-itivity in our program. Get to know more about Nougat below!

Spring is a season of growth, but growth starts with care. 🌱

As the world us around us comes back to life, we are reminded that growth isn’t rushed, it’s nurtured.

Take time to nurture your own growth by resting, resetting, and caring for yourself in ways that feel right for you. With self-care, support, and patience, we create the space to bloom. 🌸

Southwood Children’s Behavioral Healthcare is here to support you through every season.

Who says Friday the 13th is unlucky? Ours was inspiring and full of meaningful conversations about behavioral health at the Bridging Minds and Recovery Conference!

Last Friday, Southwood’s Director of Business Development, Michelle Auer, and Business Development Representative, Cassandra Duddy, had the pleasure of attending and connecting with dedicated professionals committed to advancing behavioral health care.

Thank you to Charlie Health, Newport Healthcare, and Cognitive Behavior Institute for hosting this impactful event and inviting Southwood to be a part of it. We are lucky to do this work, and even luckier to stand alongside so many professionals who share a passion for this mission! ☘️
