We’d like to thank Southwood Children's Behavioral Healthcare for being the Connections Gala’s Presenting Sponsor for a second year in a row! 🎉💚 Southwood is the region’s only behavioral health acute hospital dedicated to providing treatment specifically for children and adolescents. Since its inception in 1984, Southwood has emerged as a leader in the deliverance of behavioral health services to youth and their families.

None of our work would be possible without the generosity of our supporters & community donors. From the bottom of our hearts, we are truly grateful. 🙏

If you’d like to join us at this year’s Connections Gala and learn more about the impact your support has on our local communities, tickets are now available to purchase: https://outreachteen.org/connections-gala/. We hope to see you on Friday, May 8 at the Heinz History Center! ✨

The Connections Gala is back! 🎉✨ This year, we are looking to take our mission “Up, Up & Away” 🎈 as we lift our support of mental health to new heights.

Last year’s gala raised more than $125,000, funding hundreds of counseling sessions, expanding school-based mental health programs, and supporting 1,200+ children and adults across Allegheny and Washington Counties. 💚

📅 We'd love for you to join us and this year's presenting sponsor Southwood Children's Behavioral Healthcare on May 8 as we look to break last year's record. Together, we can help Southwestern Pennsylvania rise toward a healthier, more connected future. 🌟🤝

Self-care looks different for everyone, but somewhere between daily 10-step skincare routines 🧴, cutting people off without a second thought 🚫, and the rise of the “healing out loud” era 💬, things got complicated.
In this month’s episode of Teens Tap In, co-hosts Faith and Sara get real about what self-care actually means 💭, when boundaries start to look like avoidance 🚧, and how to truly take care of yourself in a world that’s turned healing into a highlight reel ✨.

A valued member of our Board of Directors for the last year and a half, Barb looks forward to continuing Outreach's work in this new capacity by expanding our affordable, accessible mental health services to reach even more communities across Southwestern Pennsylvania.
