Skilled Nursing - If you require any pre-or post-operative care, diabetic care, medication management and administration, or any other nursing-related services, our team of registered professional nurses can help you or a loved one improve, feel better and function more independently. No matter what your or your loved one's health condition is, our skilled nurses can manage, observe and evaluate all of your healthcare needs.
Physical Therapy- Do you need assistance in improving functional and mobility problems related to your bones, joints , muscles , or nerves, such as balance issues or physical weakness? Our occupation Therapists can evaluate your living arrangement, identify any problems you may be experiencing and provide treatments necessary to help you regain your function mobility so that you can once again regain your independence. Sometimes their recommendation may include home modifications such as grip bars in the shower, lowered cabinets in the bathroom or kitchen, and accessibility ramps replacing stairs.
Speech Therapy- Our certified Speech language pathologist can assist patients who are suffering from communication or swallowing disorders so that you can communicate more effectively or eat and drink safely. They can also help to improve auditory comprehension, problems solving and memory , as well as speech characteristics.
Medical Social Services - WPHHA social workers play a crucial role in the emotional and psycho-social aspect of our patients' healthcare. Some of the services they provide include: case management, advance directives, crisis intervention, financial assistance, nutritional support, housing assistance, service navigation and grief counseling.
Home Health Aides- If you are looking for an aide to help with day-to-day living assistance for yourself or a loved one, our professional and compassionate non-medical home health staff will be there to lend a hand. They can assist with light housekeeping, personal care, companionship, errands, meal preparation , transportation to appointment and so much more.
