Today on sunscreen myths: It is a common myth that sunscreen is only important for (you guessed it)--the sun. Because many people associate wearing sunscreen with swimming at the pool or beach, this leads to many people only using it for these specific activities, and not even considering using it at any other time of year besides summer. 🌞🏖

The reality is that sunscreen with an SPF 30 or higher ought to be an important part of your daily routine, no matter what you are doing that day. Why? Because not only are you exposed to the sun even when you are fully clothed and just outside for brief periods of time; UV radiation also comes from sources other than the sun. Too much UV exposure over time can strongly increase your risk of skin cancer. So use this as your reminder to wear your sunscreen every day, no matter how much of an "indoor person" you think you are!

2️⃣ Dr. Ryan Andrulonis presented on tips for dermatologists to help them in surgery at the annual PAD meeting this year. Dr. Andrulonis is also the current President of the PAD! 🙌🏼🫡

3️⃣ Dr. Justin Vujevich moderated an expert panel on tips for dermatologists to help them in surgery at the annual PAD meeting this year. 🗣️🎤 The conference hosted over 180 attendees!
