May we be the strong women who use their voice to free women from shackles different from our own.
May we know the strong women who stare down misogyny without blinking.
May we raise the strong women who rebuild this broken world with the tools of the women who fought before her.

International Women's Day isn't to celebrate equality, it is to remember the fight to get to where we are today.
It took protests, defiance, riots, and demanding of rights.
We will honor this history by holding our ground and continuing to fight for equality for all women ✊️

Therapy is political ⚖️
Our ethical practice stands for the rights of ALL.
We cannot encourage healing without recognizing the harm that comes from our broken systems.
Justice shows up in the therapy room too.. In how we listen without judgment, honor each person’s story, and work toward care that’s fair, ethical, and inclusive.
Healing should feel safe for everyone.

Chills ✨️
This place has always meant something to so many of us. Stonewall is a reminder that our community exists because people refused to obey unjust orders, refused to shrink, and ultimately refused to be silent.
When that flag went up in defiance of Donald Trump’s orders, it felt like a powerful “we’re still here.” Resistance doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful.. but wow, this is inspiring.
This is how progress has always happened.
One act of courage reminding the rest of us to keep going 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Black History Month is a time to honor the legacy of Black resistance, resilience, and liberation; and to deconstruct the systems that continue to cause harm.
We remain committed to anti-racist, BIPOC-centered, and decolonized care every single day.
This isn't a one month social media post. This care, and attention to harm, needs to be focused on year round.

We’re open tomorrow during the national strike against ICE because care is part of resistance.
These moments hit our communities hard, and no one should have to hold fear, grief, or trauma alone. Therapy is one way we sustain ourselves for the long fight ahead and we do not take the privilege of working with our clients lightly!
Fear and retraumitzation can take a brutal toll on mental health, and we are here to do our part to stand with you through it all. ✊️

We honor the lives stolen by genocide and the survivors who carried the truth forward.
History shows us what happens when dehumanization goes unchecked and when silence becomes complicity.
In the daily headlines and in our communities, we continue to see echoes of those same dangers. Remembrance is a commitment to challenge hatred and to defend the humanity of ALL people.
