From a recent patient. "Dr Cillo best I’ve ever met! Made me feel so positive and less nervous. I can not wait to continue on with my implants after him pulling my 2 molars today with just novocain. His staff treated me like family."

Dental implants are composed of three parts: the titanium implant that fuses with the jaw, an abutment and a crown. Once healed, they feel and perform like normal teeth.

Our surgeons are Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons (OMSs) practice oral surgery, but not everyone who performs oral surgery is an OMS. Learn the difference.

For the health and safety of our patients, team and community, we will be temporarily suspending all non-emergency oral surgery services beginning Wednesday, March 18, 2020 as directed by the Centers for Disease Control, the American Dental Association and the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Our offices will be closed until further notice except for true dental emergencies. We will continue to be open for true oral surgery emergencies, those that involve infection and pain. Please call our office during business hours for further details.
All elective operating room and office surgeries have been postponed. If you have an appointment scheduled a member of our team will be contacting you over the next few days to reschedule it. We will continue to monitor the situation and may make future modifications if needed.
We will be monitoring voicemail and email messages and responding as needed. We will continue to post updates on our page as necessary.
We thank you for understanding the measures we are taking to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and we wish nothing but health and safety to our beloved employees, patients, and community.
Sincerely,
Allegheny Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

The health and well being of our patients, our employees and the greater community are of utmost importance to us. With the recent elevated level of the COVID-19 virus, it is the responsibility of the entire public, as well as businesses, to take the necessary precautions and proactive steps to help prevent the spread of this virus.
At our office, we will continue to serve our patients while we learn more about this virus and its potential impact on our community. Our patients should continue to feel safe coming to their visits, as we have always employed universal precautions to protect their health and that of our employees including wearing gloves, eye protection and masks, and washing our hands frequently (before and after any patient interaction).
We are asking any employee to stay home if they are sick or have symptoms of any potential sickness. We are now asking our patients and parents to do the same. If you or a family member is currently sick or displaying signs of illness (coughing, fever, shortness of breath, unusual fatigue/malaise) OR has come into recent contact with someone who has been sick, please stay home and call our office and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment. We know that the preventative measures taken by many businesses and organizations due to the threat of the coronavirus will bring significant inconveniences. However, it is important that everyone understands that a proactive response at this time is necessary to help prevent the further complexity of the current situation.
We appreciate your cooperation and always appreciate your support of Allegheny Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email our office manager Cheryl at [email protected]
