I was an active child and teenager participating in dance, gymnastics and cheerleading. I love sports and still do to this day! At the age of 17, I started getting terrible migraine headaches. If any of you have ever experienced a migraine, you know how debilitating they can be. You cannot lead a "normal" life when you suffer from migraines. I would miss work, cancel out on family obligations, etc
. It wasn't until I suffered a bad fall and had to seek out chiropractic care. It was then that I found out the culprit of my migraines. After receiving several adjustments, my migraines went away and never came back. So what is a misaligned neck? It's a neck that doesn't move properly. It's probably a result of the sporting events I participated in as a child and teenager. Every time I did a "dive forward head roll", or had another cheerleader jump on my shoulders, my neck would whiplash from the force of the jump. Little did I know that I was creating a "misaligned neck". My neck being out of alignment was probably causing my migraines. Little did I know that my health was being affected by not having a properly aligned neck and spine. And guess what? I decided I wanted to be a chiropractor. I decided this because my life had been changed after my experience of not suffering from migraines anymore. I'm extremely proud to be a chiropractor. Chiropractic is simple and yet most people misunderstand it. I'm here to tell you that it's one of the greatest healing arts in our time. Whether you want to solve an acute problem or enjoy the benefits of a good healthy life for many years to come, I welcome you to my office. I currently see all walks of life in my office but I have a special interest in children and teenagers that participate in sports.
