Just made a batch of face food! I love this stuff!

Stop and Smell the Roses is best for normal, dry, and sensitive skin types.

Face Food is a concentrated, dry powder that comes in a 4 oz. recycled glass bottle with a screw top. When mixed, it equals 8-10 oz. of liquid cleanser. It is soap-free, will not foam, and it won't strip your skin of its natural oils. Face Food gently exfoliates and removes toxins, bacteria, oil and all that other yucky stuff your skin accumulates during the day. It's great as an everyday cleanser or as a mask 2-3 times a week.

Hi! It’s Small Business Saturday, so I figured it would be a good time to talk about my small business.

I'm Lauren and I'm the owner of Simply Rustic. I am very passionate about living a non-toxic and eco-friendly lifestyle. My husband and I live in Pennsylvania and have 3 children and 1 grandchild. I have degrees in both marketing and business. In my spare time, I am a Child Passenger Safety Technician and the President of Girls Youth Lacrosse for our Township.

Things I love: my kids' artwork, going to concerts, lacrosse, Halloween, soft pretzels, anything Star Wars, the farmer's market, installing car seats, cookies, campfires, lemonade and being creative. Things I don't like: meat, migraines, caterpillars, nail files, germs, misspelled words, bananas, sleeping in socks, commercials and waiting in line.

Over the years, I developed an allergy to many chemicals and preservatives, so it's important to me to keep those things out of my products and to provide safe products for my family and for others. That's where Simply Rustic comes in! At Simply Rustic, the products are simple and natural with very few ingredients. Everything is handmade to order in small batches using fair trade, organic, raw and wildcrafted ingredients whenever possible. Be sure to check out all that Simply Rustic has to offer.
