Rochelle R. “Roach, RoRo, Chelle, Mommy, Mommie Dearest” Dixon on September 2, 2025 rested in the arms of her Lord and savior on September 2, 2025
At just 54 years old, Rochelle left behind a legacy of strength, humor, and vision. Known lovingly by many nicknames — Roach, RoRo, Chelle, Mommy, and Mommie Dearest — she lived with a spirit that was bold, funny, and deeply caring. She faced health challenges throughout her life, but never let them define her. With a true Wonder Woman mentality, Rochelle powered through, showing resilience and determination that inspired everyone around her. She motivated others to keep going, no matter what, and continued to show up for her friends, her family, and her community. Rochelle’s journey began August 13, 1971 in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, where she graduated with the Class of 1989. A proud member of the Aliquippa High School Marching Band, she played the flute with joy and energy. Her classmates honored her with two superlatives that captured her essence perfectly: “Class Clown” and “Most Likely to Succeed.” Both titles proved true throughout her life. Her love for music ran deep — especially Prince, 80s classics, and that old-school 90s rap that made you roll the windows down and lean out singing along. Music was her medicine, her joy, and her way of connecting with the world. Professionally, Rochelle dedicated herself to service. She began her career in nursing homes in Aliquippa, later moving to Washington, D.C. in 1992, where she worked in behavioral health and elder care. She transitioned into quality improvement for people with disabilities, managing group homes and raising the bar for care. Her leadership grew into guiding quality improvement development in behavioral health companies, before she launched her own business, Qualcon PCS, LLC. Ultimately, she established FH Pathways, Inc., a clinic in Alaska, extending her vision of holistic wellness and empowerment to countless families.
