After my double mastectomy and complete hysterectomy, everything changed overnight—my hormones, my energy, my body. I felt exhausted, inflamed, anxious… and disconnected from myself.

At the same time, I was walking through one of the hardest seasons of my life, losing my dad to stage 4 gastric cancer. It shifted everything in me.

Even before my surgeries, I was doing everything “right”—working out, eating well… and still struggling.

This wasn’t about vanity.
It was about feeling like myself again.

What I chose to do supported my body in ways I didn’t expect—helping me feel more balanced, more at peace, and more in control.

I’m sharing this because women deserve honest conversations… not shame.

5 things I’d do differently if I were starting myjourney again 👇

1️⃣ I wouldn’t rush the dose.
More isn’t always better. Taking a gradual approach can help your body adjust and support a more sustainable experience.

2️⃣ I’d prioritize protein and hydration from day ONE.
Fueling your body properly plays a big role in how you feel throughout the process.

3️⃣ I wouldn’t overlook digestion.
Things like fiber, electrolytes, and overall gut support can make a noticeable difference in day-to-day comfort.

4️⃣ I’d think about maintenance early.
This isn’t about a quick fix …it’s about building habits you can actually maintain long-term.

5️⃣ I’d choose a provider-focused approach.
Working with a qualified medical professional helps ensure your plan is tailored, monitored, and aligned with your individual needs.

💭 For me, this journey wasn’t just physical… it helped me feel more in control again during a season where everything felt off.

After three kids, perimenopause, anxiety, a mastectomy, a hysterectomy, and surgical menopause at 41… I didn’t recognize myself anymore.

I felt like a stranger in my own body.

Am I starting to feel like me again? Yes, and it’s a relief I can’t fully explain.

What changed most?
The constant mental chatter around food finally got quiet. And that alone has shifted everything for me.

I tried the workouts. The meal plans. But my body had changed, and I needed a different kind of support.

👋 Less inflammation
👋 A healthier relationship with food
👋 Feeling more like myself again

If you’re worried about risks, I understand. Do your research…there’s growing science around supportive options beyond just weight-focused goals.

For me, this wasn’t a quick fix. It was a personal decision based on where I was mentally and physically.

If you’re curious what I chose, comment BEGIN and I’ll send you info.

These size 12 jeans aren’t about weight.
They’re about everything I survived to get here.

After a double mastectomy, a complete hysterectomy, and losing my father to cancer, I lost my sense of normal… and myself.
Grief and anxiety took over.
Food became comfort.
Healthy habits disappeared.
And the weight kept climbing …every single day.

Choosing a GLP-1 medication wasn’t about aesthetics.
It was about health.
It was about stopping a path toward obesity that runs in my family.
It was about asking for help.

Since then, I’ve released the weight, inflammation, and joint pain …
and gained back something I never thought I’d see again: me.

There are things in life I can’t control …like losing my dad.
But with the right tools, I can control my health.

What are peptides and why do they matter? 🤔

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins that naturally occur in your body. Think of them as tiny messengers that tell your cells what to do.

Science has shown that peptides can support:
💪 Muscle repair & recovery
🔥 Fat metabolism & energy levels
💧 Skin elasticity & collagen production
🧠 Cognitive function & focus
🌿 Cellular health & longevity

But here’s the most important thing…not all peptides are created equal. Quality, purity, and dosing matter more than anything. Choosing the right provider means choosing safety, proper medical oversight, and results you can trust.

So before you chase the next “good deal,” remember: when it comes to your body, cheap can come at a cost. 🧬

If you want to learn more about what peptides can do and the trusted provider I use, comment “LEARN MORE” below and I’ll share the details with you 💬

Confidence is a wonderful thing to have. Is it wrong to want to feel good in your own skin, especially as you watch everything change as you enter perimenopause and menopause?

It wasn’t just unending weight gain, even when I was working out six days a week and eating perfectly…it was having a prophylactic double mastectomy and complete hysterectomy at the age of 41. It was depression, anxiety, and grief leaving me mentally and emotionally drained.

In the midst of profound hormonal and life changes, I LOST MYSELF. Completely lost… who and what was I?? I didn’t recognize myself.

I made the decision to take a science backed medication, that was proving to have WAY more benefits than weight loss. I can affirm that it’s all true. Not only did I lose over 35 pounds, I lost inflammation and chronic pain in my joints. I gained more clarity of thought, along with more self confidence. Not visceral fat…ripping me even further away from diseases linked to obesity.

It’s not vanity. It’s health…both mental and physical. I needed help, and I DO NOT CARE what anyone’s opinion is of my choice. It was the best thing I ever did for myself AND for my family.

When I am my best…they get the best version of me, which is what they deserve.

I used to care so much about what people thought of me… until life handed me battles I never saw coming.

Losing my dad to cancer shattered me.
Testing positive for the BRCA2 mutation, facing a double mastectomy, a full hysterectomy, and being thrown into surgical menopause at 41… it was more than my body or heart knew how to process.

The weight gain.
The stress eating.
The anxiety and depression.
The feeling of losing control of everything — including myself.

For the longest time, I worried about judgment. Until I realized: no one gets to form an opinion about a story they never lived.

Saying yes to a GLP-1 was the moment I allowed something outside of my darkness to help me.
It was the first time I felt even a tiny bit of control again… and that glimmer of hope was enough to pull me forward.

And here’s the truth we don’t talk about enough:
GLP-1s aren’t just about weight. Research continues to show real, measurable health benefits — reduced inflammation, improved cardiovascular markers, lower metabolic disease risk, and even potential cancer-protective effects in people struggling with obesity or insulin resistance.

Choosing this wasn’t weakness.
It was survival.
It was healing.
It was reclaiming my life — mind, body, and spirit.

If you’re in that place where everything feels heavy… you’re not alone. And you deserve to feel like yourself again too. 💛

.jasonpencek …thank you!! We need real data …not recycled fear from “someone who heard from someone who heard from someone” that these medications are dangerous. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

At the end of the day, I know he’d agree: listen to your body. We are not all the same, and anything you put into your body should be done under the guidance of a qualified provider.

I can only speak from my experience, but GLP-1s truly CHANGED MY LIFE. At 41, I was thrown into surgical menopause after testing positive for the BRCA2 gene mutation. I chose a prophylactic double mastectomy and complete hysterectomy because of my increased cancer risk. I’m also at risk for other cancers—like pancreatic—but removing my pancreas isn’t an option. 😜 (If I don’t laugh, I’ll cry! 😆)

After surgery, my inflammation skyrocketed. My hormones went completely off the rails. I couldn’t lose weight, and I developed a real dependency on food. All of this was happening while I was watching my best friend—my dad—fight stage four stomach cancer. I was drowning in hormones, emotions, grief, and an identity crisis.

I wasn’t okay.

The only thing I felt I could control was my weight… but I couldn’t do it alone. A friend told me about GLP-1s, and from that moment, everything shifted. I lost 35 pounds, reduced my inflammation, dropped visceral fat, and for the first time in a long time…I felt good again. In my mind, in my body, and in my spirit.

For me, this has been a 10/10, which is why I now help others climb out of their own slumps and reclaim their vitality. I want to scream from the mountaintops that aging does not have to feel like suffering.

If you want more info or simply someone to walk beside you on this journey, I’d be honored. Comment BEGIN and we’ll start the conversation. 🥰

Perimenopause and menopause hit harder than anyone tells you.
Weight gain. Anxiety. Mood swings. Brain fog. Exhaustion. Night sweats. Sleep issues. Slower metabolism. Inflammation. Changes in how your body stores fat. A confidence drop you can’t explain.

For me, it started in my late 30s. My body stopped responding to anything I tried. Then came my BRCA2 diagnosis, the surgeries, and being thrown into surgical menopause at 41, right as I was losing my dad to cancer. The stress + the hormones together? It broke me in ways I didn’t expect.

If you feel like you’re doing everything “right” and your body still feels out of control… you’re not crazy, you’re not failing, and you’re not alone. This is what millions of women are silently walking through every day.

I’ve tried so many things for my skin and hair since my surgeries… and for the first time, I’m actually seeing baby hairs where I had lost them.

After my hysterectomy and mastectomy, I lost a ton of hair. Stress didn’t help either. But combining GHK-Cu (the copper peptide) with BPC-157 + TB-500 has been a total game changer.

✨ GHK-Cu helps boost collagen, brighten skin, and wake up dormant hair follicles.
✨ BPC-157 + TB-500 help repair, reduce inflammation, and increase blood flow to the scalp, creating the perfect environment for growth.

My skin has never felt better …my makeup goes on smoother, my tone looks more even, and those fine lines and age spots? Fading.

If you are looking for next level hair and scan, regardless of where you are in your life, and in your health and wellness journey, “GLOW” and I’ll send you the exact link to what I use!

I started this injection for weight loss. What I didn’t expect? The ripple effect it would have on my entire body and mind.

GLP-1 medications were originally designed for diabetes, but the science behind them has opened so many new doors…especially for women like me navigating perimenopause and menopause. I’ve been in surgical menopause since 2023, and this has truly changed my life.

Here’s what these medications have been shown to help with:
👉 Regulate insulin and blood sugar
👉 Reduce inflammation (a major root cause of fatigue and stubborn weight)
👉 Slow gastric emptying…helping you feel satisfied longer
👉 Support brain health and reduce cravings

At first, I just wanted to shrink my body…that’s the honest truth. I had been through hell and wanted to feel like me again. That happened… but I also gained so much more: energy, clarity, peace of mind, and a deeper sense of balance in a phase of life that’s often misunderstood.

If you’re struggling with inflammation, weight that won’t budge, or feeling like your body is working against you…please know you’re not alone. There are options, and real solutions that work with your body, not against it.

👇 Comment LEARN MORE and I’ll personally send you details about the provider who helped me take back my health. You deserve to feel good again.
