Scholarship Opportunity for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Students!

The Communication Contest for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CCDHH) is now accepting participants for the 2025–2026 school year!

Theme: “The Moment I Realized I Belonged - My Definition of Community”

Who Can Participate:
Students through grade 12 who have an uncorrected hearing loss of 40+ decibels (verified by an audiogram completed within the past 24 months by a qualified audiologist).

About the Contest:
This inspiring competition gives deaf and hard of hearing youth the chance to share their ideas with a live audience—building confidence, communication skills, and leadership. Participants may present using sign language, spoken word, or a combination of both in an original 4–5 minute presentation. (Visual aids/slides are not permitted.)

Award:
🏆 $3,500 scholarship toward post-high school education or vocational training.
