Music Thru Inspiration lit up the room with a soulful performance by Beverly Taylor and Mark Strickland!

Though Beverly retired from RP Home a few years ago, her heart never left—she continues to be a cherished part of the RP Home Family. Her music, spirit, and presence remind us that once you're part of this community, you're always family. 💙

"For all they have achieved throughout their lives and for all that they continue to do, we owe our gratitude and sincere greetings to our senior citizens. We can show our gratitude and appreciation better by making sure our communities are good places. Age and maturity, places where older people can participate as much as possible and find the encouragement, acceptance, support and services they need to continue living a life of independence and dignity. —Ronald Reagan

From blurry to brilliant, your gift helps people see the details that matter most. Thank you for helping us turn vision into possibility—one pair at a time.

Our Future Hilltop - Pittsburgh recently delivered donated reading glasses to our Residents in Upper Rooms. Thank you to World Vision USA for "seeing" that our residents have access to reading glasses!

Last year in Allegheny County, over 12,000 people lost nearly $8 million from various scams. A thief can come at you in many ways including by mail, phone, at your door, and online. https://alleghenycountyda.us/senior-justice-advocacy/

Joe Giuffre with the Senior Justice Fraud Protection Program provided tips to our seniors to protect themselves from these scams.

Recently, RP Home requested donations to support the purchase of a commercial dryer. We wash, dry, and fold all of the linens and personal laundry in-house – so when we had only one dryer it made this job difficult.

Long time supporters of RP Home, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Watters were quick to donate $5,000 to assist towards this purchase. We were further blessed for matching contributions donated by each Mrs. Linda Anderson and the late Ms. Rachel George. Additionally, we received funding support from Ms. Anna Porter, a long time volunteer.

These donations, enabled us to purchase a new commercial dryer. Pictured here are employees Malcom, Stephanie and Cathy who ensure we have clean linens every day.

Your generosity is sincerely appreciated by our residents and staff.

Vision Statement:

The Reformed Presbyterian Home and its family of services will be a model for excellence in the care of older adults as guided by our commitment to provide an environment that maximizes the physical, spiritual, social, and emotional well-being of each member of our community.

Philosophy of Care:

We believe that God has given value to each person’s life that does not diminish with age or changes in mental and physical condition. Each of our residents has varying levels of health, activity, intellect, creativity, sociability, and independence. Our goal is to provide an environment that will help each person we serve achieve his/her maximum level of physical, spiritual, mental, and social well-being. By having levels of care, the RP Home strives to meet the needs of residents in a supportive, rather than restrictive environment. We attempt all of this in the spirit of Christian love and the Golden Rule as taught by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
