Kybella was once a popular option for reducing small pockets of fat, particularly under the chin. While it is FDA-approved and works by breaking down fat cells through a natural metabolic process, it often requires multiple sessions and can cause significant swelling and discomfort. It is also not ideal for contouring or defining the jawline.

Dr. Antimarino has since moved away from Kybella in favor of LipoAI, a more advanced and precise in-office treatment. LipoAI offers greater consistency, fewer sessions, and improved sculpting for targeted fat reduction.
