Room 361 had a “tee-rific” time playing mini golf today! ⛳️💚
From hole-in-ones to lots of giggles, these little golfers showed off their patience, teamwork, and awesome putting skills. We may have a few future PGA stars in the making! 🌟🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

PLEA recently partnered with Open Up Pittsburgh to host a mindfulness and movement workshop for families and staff of PLEA students. The event brought families together in a welcoming and supportive environment to learn simple strategies for managing stress, supporting emotional regulation, and strengthening connection through movement and mindfulness activities. The workshop reflected the shared commitment of PLEA and Open Up Pittsburgh to create inclusive spaces where all families feel supported, connected, and empowered. Today, for Teacher Appreciation Week, we didn't just eat; we went on a culinary quest, all inspired by Disney. It was basically a "bippity-boppity-buffet" situation, where we had
​the "Bella Notte" Special: A mountain of spaghetti and meatballs that would make Lady and the Tramp blush. (No nose-pushing of meatballs occurred... mostly).

​Everyone walked in like energetic princesses and princes, and waddled out like Hei Hei the chicken!

​Huge shoutout to our Incredible staff! You all work so hard, you deserve a lunch that’s nothing short of a fairy tale. Now, if anyone needs us, we’ll be "napping beauties" at our desks for the next twenty minutes. 💤✨

That's right! Day 3 of Teacher Appreciation Week brought churros and presents for our staff! Check out the new PLEA hats!

But wait—it gets better! We have a brand new wall display in the hall, and it is honestly a tear-jerker. It’s filled with notes from parents and students explaining exactly why our staff is so "magical." 🪄✨
