True T PGH is a community-driven organization dedicated to empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals, particularly people of color, through creative, educational, and wellness-focused initiatives. Located in Pittsburgh's historic Bluff neighborhood, True T Studios offers a versatile, two-level space featuring three distinct areas for meetings, rehearsals, workshops, and private events. Each studio is equipped for year-round comfort, with a sound system in the private dance studio. Beyond the space, True T PGH fosters a nurturing environment with programming that includes art workshops, social justice efforts, and health services through the True T Self-Care Clinic, providing essential resources like free HIV/STI testing.

True T Studios is the home location of True T Pittsburgh with co-working space for ColorMe Urban, Trans YOUniting, and Dalen Michael.

Motivated by the underrepresentation of q***r POC in mainstream media, True T PGH serves as a creative platform in dismantling the negative portrayal of our community through innovative events and activities that celebrate the beauty and creativity often overlooked within our underground Ballroom scene.

Since 2012 we have been fortunate to put over $30,000 back in the q***r communities of color through projects such as the Annual Galaxy Ball series where 300+ POC come together from across the country competing for over $3,500 in cash prizes and trophies.
