Our Story

The e-brain research group coordinates and analyzes studies that focus on the interplay between brain integrity and function in a variety of neuroepidemiological studies. We apply cutting-edge brain imaging methods in population studies of older adults, patients with type 1 Diabetes and patients with Sickle Cell Disease. We study trajectories of risk factors, utilize advanced cognitive and mobility measures and comprehensive characterization of central and peripheral contributors to function.
