Birthdays come and go, but Daniela’s birthday made an impact that will last far beyond her special day.

Instead of a trip or party, she became a first-time blood donor, giving the gift of life to someone in need.

“I decided to donate because I really do believe something small on my part can have a huge impact on someone else’s life,” she says.

Now part of the Vitalant team, Daniela’s experience only strengthened her commitment. “I’ll keep doing it as long as I can. I love getting those texts saying my blood was used.”
