Spring in Chinese Medicine is all about renewal 🌿

This season is connected to the Liver — which governs detoxification, emotions, and the smooth flow of energy in the body.

If you’re feeling:
• Irritable
• Stuck or unmotivated
• Tired but wired

Your body might be asking for a reset.

Acupuncture can help restore balance and get your energy flowing again ✨

We talk about spring cleaning our homes.

But what about our nervous systems?

The Liver in Chinese medicine is deeply connected to:
• Frustration
• Anger
• Feeling overwhelmed

March can bring restlessness — especially after winter stillness.

Acupuncture helps:
✔ Calm sympathetic overdrive
✔ Smooth emotional reactivity
✔ Create mental clarity

Sometimes irritability isn’t a personality flaw.
It’s stagnant energy asking to move.

Spring is a reset.
You don’t have to do it alone.

Ever notice how your body seems to run on its own clock? ⏰

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, each time of day is connected to a specific meridian (organ system) — and what you feel can be a clue to what your body needs.

✨ Waking between 1–3 AM? This is linked to the liver meridian — often associated with detox, stress, and emotional processing.
✨ Feeling your best digesting food mid-morning? That’s your stomach meridian (9–11 AM) in its prime.
✨ Even breakfast timing matters... 7–11 AM supports both the stomach and spleen, the core of digestion and energy in the body.

Your body isn’t random… it’s rhythmic.

Start paying attention to your patterns — they might be telling you more than you think. 💫

Have questions about what your body might be telling you? Let’s chat — I’d love to help you connect the dots.

Spring shifts hormones.

Longer daylight impacts:
• Cortisol
• Melatonin
• Estrogen + progesterone balance

Many women notice in March:
• Cycle shifts
• Mood swings
• Sleep disruption
• Increased anxiety

In Chinese medicine, this is often Liver Qi imbalance.

Acupuncture helps regulate:
✔ The stress response
✔ Sleep cycles
✔ PMS symptoms
✔ Perimenopausal fluctuations

Your body isn’t “off.”
It’s adjusting.

Let’s support the transition instead of pushing through it 🌿

If you’re increasing outdoor activity this month — walking, running, lifting — remember:

The Liver governs the tendons.

March is a common time for:
• Hamstring tightness
• IT band issues
• Plantar fasciitis
• Shoulder tension

Chinese medicine sees this as Wood energy rising — sometimes too quickly.

Acupuncture:
• Improves blood flow
• Reduces inflammation
• Speeds recovery
• Prevents chronic flare-ups

Spring training deserves spring recovery.

Movement + balance = longevity 🌱

Still dreaming about yesterday’s St. Patrick’s Day dinner ☘️🥔✨

Nothing beats a classic corned beef spread with all the cozy sides… and of course, homemade Irish soda bread fresh out of the oven 🤍

There’s just something about a meal like this that feels simple, traditional, and so satisfying. Bonus: the leftovers might be even better today 😋

I tried a new soda bread recipe this year (linked below in comments 👇) and it did not disappoint—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect with a little butter.

Did you cook or celebrate yesterday? And be honest… are you team leftovers today too? 🍽️

March often brings talk of “detoxing.”

In Chinese medicine, we don’t force detox.
We support the organs that already detox beautifully when balanced.

Instead of extremes, try:
• Warm lemon water in the morning
• More leafy greens
• Light stretching daily
• Earlier bedtime
• Reducing alcohol + heavy foods

Acupuncture supports liver function, circulation, and digestion — helping your body do what it’s designed to do.

True detox is about flow, not restriction.

Spring invites gentle renewal 🌱
