🌟 Employee Spotlight: Lauryn Kalka, LCSW 🌟

We're proud to shine a light on one of our incredible clinicians, Lauryn Kalka, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and families.

Lauryn’s passion and expertise span a wide range of areas including foster care, adoption, residential treatment, wraparound services, family preservation, outpatient care, and school-based mental health. She’s deeply committed to diagnosing and supporting individuals with ADHD, anxiety, autism, and mood disorders, including depression.

A strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Lauryn brings empathy, knowledge, and a trauma-informed approach to her work. Her goal is always to create a safe, welcoming, and individualized space for healing and growth.

It is important for me to take the whole person into account during treatment and adapt interventions based on their unique experiences, strengths, and needs.” – Lauryn Kalka

We're so grateful for the dedication and heart Lauryn brings to the Mindful Matters team 💙

Last call for the Foster Love Project Angel Tree! If you were wanting to donate or buy a gift, you can do so until tomorrow! Happy Holidays! Thanks for supporting!

🎄 Join Mindful Matters in Supporting the Foster Love Project! 🎄

Last year, thanks to your incredible generosity, we participated in the Angel Tree Gift Collection for the Foster Love Project and had an amazing response. We set a goal to fulfill 15 wishes and nearly doubled it!

This year, we’re dreaming even bigger: we’ve committed to fulfilling 25 wishes, and we’d love to surpass that goal with your help!

If you’d like to spread some holiday cheer this season, here are two easy ways to get involved:

1️⃣ Pick a Wish: Use this link to select a gift/wish to fulfill and pay directly. Don’t forget to list Mindful Matters and Friends as the sponsoring organization. https://form.jotform.com/243104938087056

2️⃣ Contribute to a Group Order: Prefer to donate?

Venmo: -Frye (memo: Foster Love Project: Angel Tree Donation)
Or write a check to Mindful Matters Counseling Group LLC (same memo).
I’ll use all contributions to place a larger order on December 1st.
Your generosity helps bring joy to foster children during the holidays, and we’re so grateful for your continued support. Let’s make this another incredible year! 🎁

Thank you, and happy holidays! 🌟
