I came from a school of thought where you didn't go to a Chiropractor unless something was actually wrong with your back. In other words, you had to be in pain. Over these many months seeing Dr. Goldberg, I've not only been successfully treated, but I've LEARNED about the various habits required to keep the spine healthy long-term. As he'll tell you during your first appointment, routine spine checkups a key so you can proactively prevent issues in the future. I strongly recommend Dr. Goldberg and his entire team!
You Thank you Andrew for your excellent comments. That's exactly right Andrew because we as chiropractors are dentists for the spine. Meaning you can have a cavity in your teeth and you can have a cavity in your spine. A lot of the time you can have a cacity in your spine and 90% of the time you don't consciously feel it. Why? Because 90% of your nervous system is silent. Meaning 90% of your nervous system is non-pain fibers. Only 10% of your nervous system causes pain. We call this "the silent killer". And yes it's good to be proactive with your health and spine. Prevention and maintanence are the only two things that makes sense. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Thanks again.
