ARTIST SPOTLIGHT #5✨
Goofy. Groovy. Angelic. Wild at Heart. Things that come to mind when you describe the style of Loopy Angels, the brainchild of Karina Rose Sparkles . Why plural you ask? 1 DJ, with multiple angelic personalities, hence the name. Loopy is serving the people up with some heaping helpings of high vibrational grooves. Karina got her creative start working in the music scene as a live painter in 2016 going to various jam band shows in Ohio as well as EDM shows. Eventually, her love for music evolved into a desire to further her creative endeavors as a musician. With that energy, she's assembled mashups across a wide range of genres with a mix of an uplifting and fiercely dancing twist.
Aside from dj'ing, Karina is the founder of Fiery Violet Entertainment, and first hosted an event in Ohio in 2018, and with her new found love for dj/producing, revived her efforts in a fresh environment with a vision for exhibiting up & coming artists and co-founded The Cool Kids Collaborative with friends. Last year they began a series of outdoor events, Sunday Sunset Sessions, a community based series showcasing regional and local talent.
Gathering inspiration from the likes of Stickybuds, WBBL, Maya Jane Coles, AC Slater, Neon Steve, Kenny Beeper, & Crazy Daylight, Karina is ready to simultaneously keep you on the edge of your seat and keep your feet moving with her wacky and colorful fusion.
Karina loves playing to celestial events, and did a set during last year’s solar eclipse, and will be playing a set during both sunset and a Full Moon rising to close out the event this Sunday. She will do her fairy best to keep the crowd moving!!

Lil Shagg is from Latrobe, Pennsylvania. From Classic Dance to Drum n' Bass and Jungle music, Lil Shagg's wide variety will send chills down your spine. He is very passionate with his mixing skills and loves to play in front of crowds who appreciate the same music that he does! He occasionally throws in Classic Rock, Old School Rap, Heavy Metal and other influences into his sets to keep the crowd engaged. With Lil Shagg's good tracks selections and cool mash ups, he will definitely have you wanting more!

Reigning from Morgantown, WV, Howes Party is a multi-genre based electronic music DJ and producer, with a special love for house music and 4 to the floor beats. Since beginning her DJ career, Howes Party has been privileged to play multiple local festivals and night clubs, work with different regional collectives, and been on support lineups for artists like Manic Focus, AK Renny, and Sugar Nova. Pittsburgh is always a fun city for Howes Party to play in, and she can't wait to bring her signature energy to the Aries Fairies & Gnomes Rooftop Party Sunday, April 13th!

I make a wide variety of crafts & I'm always switching it up but lately Ive been really into making paintings, upcycled bottle cap hatpins, handmade bubble wands, earrings & wirewrapped pendants. Most of my art (including jewlery, bubblewands & hatpins) is made incorporating upcycled materials. It's important to me to respect the world we live in; the same world that grants us so many opportunities to seek adventure & make memories."

Dan Fletcher AKA “Funk Masta Fletch”

Pittsburgh based DJ/promoter, Fletch is known for eclectic sets with one common element–the funk. An open-format DJ by trade, Fletch likes to blend grooves from different genres and decades together in his sets while creating a high-energy funky collage of music that is impossible not to groove to. A master at reading a crowd, Fletch isn’t afraid to take risks and introduce an audience to something new or unexpected.

Founder of the Pittsburgh Funk Fam and host of the monthly party “Down to Funk,” Fletch has gained a reputation as one of the city's best party rockers at one of the most popular DJ-centered bars in the city: The Goldmark. Running since 2018, “Down to Funk” has become a popular party with some of the city’s best DJs joining him behind the decks as guests each month. There is no question that Fletch is down… to funk, baby.

Opening for artists such as the legendary DJ Craze, Late Night Radio, and more, Fletch has solidified his reputation as a funk master in the steel city.
